The Ramos revolution?

I think that Senor Ramos has already made some major decisions and begun to stamp his mark on our squad.

He has broken up the midfield, 2 players have already been dropped who previously would not, Zokora and Hudd, in place of KPB who looked better than either.

He has given Bent and Defoe a chance and Bent actually scored and looked fairly decent. He just needs a chance and to play in the right system. He is the most limited of our strikers but the best at what he does.

There is not too much wrong and I think that Ramos is gradually discovering that. I reckon come January we will see a new left sided mid, a couple of centre mids and maybe another centre back.

Once we have those players and we have Rocha, King and Bale back in the team, we will really see just what Ramos can do. His system is a simple one, be organised, work very hard and pass the ball quickly.

I wouldn't call that as a revolution, he's just checking his different options now.

I like to see that Ramos does dare to take his own decisions. In the first matches, I wanted to try out a few team combinations. KPB and Zokora is two player types Ramos likes to play, I think.

Boateng is a player with a lot of potential, and he is aggressive in his playing style - like Zokora. Therefore, I think that, at current time, Zokora and Boateng is the best option in central midfield. With two hardworking players in midfield, you will get a pacy midfield which can take control in the match. The problem has been the way we are playing - we are playing too much long, and do not dare to play our own game with great posession football. At times we do, but we have to build up our attacks, and not always go for the quick fix.

Zokora has the pace in midfield, but the other central midfielders positioning is sometimes very bad, and that gives Zokora less options, and it seems like he is the weak player. The fact is that other players are doing him bad because they do not give him passing options. We have to get more team play in midfield. Hopefully Ramos will change this.

I think his bravery showed yesterday when he played KPB in CM.

With big Mart, he would have spent two years, part-time on left wing.

True. Ghaly Tainio and Malbranque are all central mids that have been used wide....perhaps they will get the chance to play centrally too

In his interview after the Torino friendly, BMJ said we'd bought KPB as cover for Lennon as he thought Ghaly had been sold. He played across the midfield positions for Hertha Berlin.

Can't understand why Wendy doesn't follow my advice and play Steed as an attacking CM.

Who knows we might, when Bale is fit.

I think he probably will in coming fixtures BOF.

Steeeed is tackling harder than anyone else in the squad right now so I can see it happening..
