In no particular order:

Swansea - They've sold their best players over the last couple of years and not really replaced them. For what it's worth I think Clement has the makings of a decent manager and I don't think it's down to him that they're not playing well, but their squad is just crap. That said, if they can make some clever signings in the summer maybe Clement can get them out of it.

West Ham - They really are a massive shower of shit at the moment. In addition to just not having a very good team, they've also got a lot of players who clearly don't really give that much of a shit and are just waiting for a move elsewhere or are just happy to be collecting their overly-inflated paycheque every week. They've still got one or two goo players but I don't think either of them have the right attitude for a relegation dogfight. On top of that, the fans and players are fairly unanimously against the appointment of Moyes, and probably rightly so given that his only experience of battling relegation ended in Sunderland going down and not even putting up anything that remotely looked like a fight. The poisonous atmosphere around the club is also not going to help one bit.

West Brom - They've always been a team who played better than the sum of their parts by being ruthlessly organized and difficult to play against. Now that that has gone all they're left with is a poor squad and Alan fucking Pardew as the manager. Similar to Swansea, I can't see them turning their fortunes around unless they make some really astute signings in the summer and WBA don't even have the advantage of having a semi-capable manager like Swansea do

Agree with both above, though I was completely wrong when the question was asked this time last year - think I only got Sunderland right. At the moment those three look by far the weakest as Palace has recovered well under Hodgson and you'd imagine Stoke and Bournemouth will eventually pull away.

I am worried for Huddersfield though. The heavy defeat to Bournemouth a few weeks ago was telling in a way - they might pull off some good results through their collective effort but the squad man for man is as weak as we all thought before the start of the season.

Yeah you could be right about Huddersfield. If one of the three I mentioned above manages to sort themselves out, Huddersfield would be my favorite to take the next spot

I think West Ham will get out of trouble. They've got a couple of decent strikers there and that could be enough to keep them up. Moyes will probably get them better organized than Bilic as well.
Swansea look in trouble. I think Clement's a decent enough manager, but he lost his two best players and the club gambled on their replacements.
I've got a feeling that Bournemouth might go down this season as well. Wilson, King and Defoe might save them though.

West Ham. Swansea. Huddersfield. Would be my guess. And really want Crystal Palace and Brighton to stay up.

A year ago I'd have agreed with you as I generally like Palace, but them going down increases our chances of buying Zaha and after they way they handled the De Boer appointment and sacking they deserve to go down imo.

Like everyone else has said Swansea will be bottom as they are just crap. I have a feeling West Ham might get out of it just due to the fact that they do have a far better squad than most of the teams down there, even if they are a shambles of a club. Also think West Brom might go as I don't think Pardew can organise a defence and that's their best bet as the squad is pretty dire.

Don't count out the promoted teams either. Plenty have started ok over the years, but once injuries kick in etc things can look very different in the second half of the season.

So if I had to choose I'd go West Brom, Huddersfield, Swansea.

Im actually finding it quite hard to call this year. Definitely Swansea. Hopefully West Ham. Got a feeling Bournemouth might run it close but the third will be huddersfield or Palace.

Huddersfield - as you rightly surmise - could find themselves in the relegation mix with their recent form.

West Ham won't go down imvho

If they lose to Chelsea and Arsenal they will be bottom on 10 pts from 17 games and probably 6 pts off safety. Would need European form to survive from there. For me it’s West Ham Swansea Huddersfield. Almost put my house on those 3.

Just feel like they’re incredibly jammy and capable of putting a run together
