Marcus Smith looks like he should be going back to school next week.

As a Quins fan I'm very excited about him but he's way out of his depth at this stage.

Quins were fucking terrible today but credit to London Irish.

@E17yid do you want Jamie Roberts at Ospreys? I no longer want him anywhere near Quins.

There is a lot to like about Quins and how they have stuck by bringing through their own players, but in a lot of ways they are the rugby equivalent to Arsenal. Too loyal to certain individuals both on and off the pitch, mediocrity is accepted as standards slip and slip - so they get further from the top, and just all looks a bit stale to onlookers. Saints have a lot of similar problems, wouldn't be surprised if one of those two had an absolute shocker of a season.

All very true. We hire from within and nothing changes.

Living on past glories and not moving forwards at all.

Think we'll be in a relegation scrap this year unfortunately.

In other news it looks like the South African teams will be good news for the points difference of everyone else in the Pro 14.

How's Adam Jones doing? Getting any minutes?

Not us if we play the Cheetahs before the end of September. Without Webb, AWJ and Biggar we only put 9 points on Zebre today. I've only seen highlights but there was some good stuff from them in patches it seemed. Was always going to be tough in the first season.

Yeah was being a tad tongue in cheek. Both had very tough opening games so sure they'll grow into it a bit.

Well another interesting weekend in the Premiership.

Quins predictably won at home having been abysmal away.

Bath beat Sarries.

Leicester look shot to pieces.

Newcastle have one of the worst away kits in sporting history.

Good times.

All Blacks finally played with the precision they've been lacking all year. Although they've been winning, they've been making a lot of errors. After quite a bright start, SA were, to state the bleeding obvious, shambolic.

South Africa have been pretty poor for a while now.
