Think that's been pretty scrappy from England throughout the half. Saying that, we'd got into a position where we had the foot on their throat but we've let them wriggle off the hook and a foothold back into the match.

Should be 12-10 if Patchell had got that relatively easy kick and that try was given (with conversion)

What justification was there for that not to be a try? Very odd decision from the refs.

Absolutely bruising encounter. Hopefully with England's strength off the bench that plays into our hands.

Limped over the line in the end after a decent start. Far too many errors and lack of control. Good effort from Wales though to try and claw their way back into it, remained disciplined in defence and kept trying to play.

Well I saw a massive game between two sides without a lot between them.

I thought Farrell was brilliant - first half - Brown caught well, Alun Wyn was immense. Of course there were errors - there always are - but a tough, nerve-wracking game up to the final knock-on!

And that Underhill tackle ... There won't be a better in the 6 Nations this year.

And I hate ITV. You could still hear the echo of the final whistle when they cut to adverts and missed not only the atmosphere but the respect between the two sides that I'm sure was there to be seen.

Pretty spot on for me.

Conditions were terrible which made for a brutal rather than skilful game and England just about managed it better.

Farrell and Brown were phenomenal, Ford was incredibly composed under pressure and, whilst he didn't 'bottle it' I thought Patchell was poor.

England will lose to Ireland playing like that though.

Also what happened to borePenny?

He's in my fucking fantasy team the useless boring tool!

Fucking foot infection. Ballooned up apparently. Reckon we would’ve won just with him on the pitch let along Davies, Webb, Biggar, North, Williams and Faletau.

I honestly don't think it would have made a difference other than he'd have kicked that penalty.

Fair enough on the other players but we'd have smashed you with big Billy V ;)

Yeah you’re right. We needed that blatant try to be given by the TMO. ;)

I still haven't seen the reason that the try wasn't given.

Was it because they thought Watson got their first? Or because it wasn't grounded properly?

Either way England deserved the win for me. Think Ireland will pick both teams apart though.
