Some great Super rugby games on recently. Didn’t know Warren Gatland Son (Bryn) plays for the Blues now.

Damien Mackenzie is still so fucking good. Plays at 10 for the Chiefs now. What a player.

Guess we'll see who Boyd brings with him. Plenty of challenges ahead after a truly miserable season.

Quins have followed Saints' trend and are getting shot of Kingston at the end of the season.

All I can say is thank christ for that. Our performance at the weekend was roughly equivalent to a badger trying to beat a tank, with the added embarrassment that it was a really shit tank.

Poor Jamie. Sounded like he was pretty good for you these last few months which considering you’ve had a pretty shocking season ain’t to bad but you’d know more than me.

I think you do win the prize for shittest season as Ospreys have managed to turn it around last month or so.

He's been okay in a very poor team. Still nothing special though.

Our players had basically stopped playing for Kingston, and Saturday was just the end of that process. All extremely disheartening and something that I predicted when we appointed him in the first place.

God knows who we get in charge now.

No idea to be honest.

The tricky thing is that nobody is really sure how much cash we've got, as the appointment of Kingston in the first place looked like a money-saving exercise, coupled with us promoting coaches from within a flawed system rather than trying to find the top talent elsewhere.

I don't think Lancaster is a DOR, but I'd have him in as head coach. Mallinder I'm not sure on as he did bomb badly at the end at Northampton, but he did a lot of good things before that.

Cockers would certainly come in and kick some arses which we need, but I don't think it would be a particularly long-term appointment.

I'd hope that, like Northampton, we can look a bit further afield but I don't hold out a huge amount of hope for that.

Lancaster would be a good fit for Quins. As TSH says maybe not as the top guy though (but I think that's what he will want at his next role), but cant see why he would leave Leinster right now.

I find that hard to believe with the loveable Joe Marler and Mike Brown in the squad.

I think most of the players get on fine, and you can see that after the games when they are mostly in a group hanging out with each other. Obviously someone like Marler is a difficult character at times, but from what I can see he gets on fine with everyone in the squad.

I don't think someone like Jamie Roberts helped, as he came in with a big salary and then seemed unwilling to actually play for the club, but I think the bigger issues have been that we've simply promoted from within, which only really works when you're doing well. If you do it when things are going badly, then you're just continuing the cycle of mediocrity.

As you say though, all a bit of a mess at the moment, and I suspect we'll lose all of our last three games, meaning we could very well finish 11th.

What with Spurs losing, Quins abominating and both my horses in the Grand National taking each other out at the same fence, sport can go and take a running jump at the moment.

We fucking lost 8-0 to ulster and Justin Tipuric thought it’d be cool to go out to play in the commonwealth games sevens tournament.

I’m really pleased he got to play 42 mins of rugby on the Gold Coast while we pissed our champions cup hopes away.

Really not sure how Ospreys have allowed that to happen. Presumably they had no choice in the matter.

I dunno. Part of me thinks we should let Tips do what he wants but the other side of me thinks wtf. Wouldn’t have been so bad if we had Lydiate fit.
