He's totally english. He was just a late bloomer and wasn't on the england age groups radar so he played with his mates from cardiff. Quality player. He could be an outside shout for the world cup squad.

He'd certainly add something a bit different off the bench.

Think it might be a bit early for him but he's been phenomenal this year so on form alone it's hard to argue against him.

Dombrandt looks very useful, but I'd suspect knowing what Eddie Jones likes he's got to get a bit fitter and up his workrate a bit more beyond the eyecatching stuff to get a look in at this point.

Absolutely.

He's got all the skills but needs more time to convert that to the highest level.

But as an impact sub he could be very useful. Having said that England are okay in that area already.

Ollie Thorley is predicted to come in for ashton who is injured. The kid is nuts I remember posting one of his tries a few months ago. Prem player of the month, he is going to be a star.

Squad I think.

I thought so as Knowell was unlucky to be dropped fir the France game

I remember the vid you posted. Looks a decent player though IIRC there was some suspect defending on one of his tries.

Assuming Biggar is out I have absoluty no idea who our second kicker is. Liam Williams?

Not that it matters as far more concerning is that we don’t have a good first kicker.

So, England are pretty much sorted then, yeah?

1.Genge
2.George
3.Sinkler
4.Kruis
5.Lawes
6.Wilson
7.Curry
8.Vunipola
9.Youngs
10.Farrell
11.May
12.Tualagi
13.Slade
14.Knowel
15.Daly

Looks like the only spots up for grabs would be 2nd row with Launchbury starting and loose head with Moon maybe getting g the nod. Other than that looks nailed on.

Yup hard to see that not being the 15 other than maybe Moon for Genge (although I'd pick Genge)

I’d imagine Gats will play:

1.Evans
2. Owens
3. Francis
4. Beard
5. AWJ
6. Navidi
7. Tipuric
8. Moriarty
9. Davies
10. Anscombe
11. Adams
12. Parkes
13. Davies
14. North
15. Williams

He could go for either Ball or Hill over Beard but neither has played much. I’m not sure Beard is ready for a game like this so I’d probably go Ball with Hill as the impact sub.

The back row is nailed on but he could mix up the props but I doubt it. Gareth Davies will play you’d have thought but he’s hardly played either but that’s obviously just down to Gatland mixing it up.

Parkes isn’t in great form at the moment and there’s a real case to play Watkin (who’s playing well) and I’d be intrigued to see how he matches up against Tualagi but there’s no way he starts which is a shame imo.

I just have very little faith in the set piece at the moment. Lose half your line outs and a few scrums to top sides and you’re fucked. On top of that we have a 75%/80% success rate goal kicker which, again, to beat a top level side you need a 90%/95% on the pitch.

We could be solid in the scrum, that’s possible, but the lineout to? Optimistic to say the least.

If we do somehow pull out a freak performance and lose no line outs and scrummage well and, on top of that, Anscombe has a worldy (not just with the boot, which isn’t impossible but unlikely) then we’ll have a decent chance but there’s a lot of big ifs there.

There is the Peyper factor. But there’s as much chance he stitches you up as us but hopefully he remembers he fucked up with Farrell in the autumn and with the home crowd gives us a few shit calls.

Biggar and Halfpenny training with the squad so we’ll have at least 1 goal kicker on the bench.
