Never seen him play. In fact I had never heard of him until now. Banfield plays against River today, so I'll probably see him

Saw a little bit of him against limited opposition, interested to see how he does against River. Little too raw to take such a massive gamble on IMO, would like to see him in a better side first.

Watched Atalanta v AC Milan yesterday.

Two players we supposedly have interest in were on show for AC Milan.

Kessie got about the pitch well, but for his size, seemed to lose out on alot of 50/50 challenges. He seemed to quickly get to positions to nullify attacks, but without really comitting himself to get stuck in so achieved little.

Same for Suso, you can see he has a few tricks and looks to try and drive forward, but looked a bit wimpy in the 50/50 stakes.

Don't get me wrong, Atalanta are quite a physical side, but on this showing, I didn't witness anything of great note.

Of course only one game, but just thought I'd share. Did anyone else watch the match ??

What made you watch him?? or how did you know of his existence?? Is he a prospect in some game?
There's nothing about him in media here, no history in the under 20s, no link to any big club. Seems like a random young player.
I'm really curious of how did you learn about him

That’s a bit concerning with regards to Kessie, though I don’t really rate him anyway.

As far as Suso, his job isn’t to get stuck in on every 50/50. You’re not going to find many, if any, creatives who also stick their nose in the fray. That’s not what they are there for.

His name was brought up last summer by someone. Herc mentioned we were interested (specifically Poch) but that other big clubs were as well. I’ve followed him since that point.

Kessie seems to have regressed somewhat I feel.

As for Suso, maybe not full blown challenges, but firstly if he'd made more effort he had the rest of the wing to exploit, and secondly these aren't tame attempts on his part, closer to non existent.

As for a creative type not getting stuck in, he's a RW first and foremost, if he's not prepared to get stuck in LB will be exposed time after time.

I'm pretty confident Poch wouldn't be giving him a free pass, and certainly not on his powder puff efforts witnessed yesterday.

Yeah, I did watch it as well. Piatek's goals showed both bravery and quality; he looks like the real deal. Every time I've watched AC Milan recently I've come away impressed by Paqueta. Looks like a nice little player with some nice ability.

I've watched AC Milan a few times in recent weeks and have to say Kessie has been so unimpressive. As you said, he's got good mobility, but he just looks like an average footballer. Don't really see anything that he'd offer to us that someone like Wanyama couldn't, if healthy. Wanyama also comes with the ability to operate with more defensive prowess.

Have to echo your sentiment regarding Piatek, and yes, regarding Kessie, I believe Sissoko offers more.

Yes Kessie has scored and assisted a couple, but on the whole he just seems to run around and provide no great attack or defence elements in the games I've seen this season.

More murmurings of dicontent with Bale at Madrid

Would be a phenomenal signing for us

Would take our attacking game to a new level as we would need players that start to really deliver

Kane Bale Eriksen Son Dele Lamela Lucas for 4 positions is what we need to really compete with city and even then they are still stronger

Mahrez Sterling Sane Silva Silva De Bruyne Aguero Jesus

That was in regards to Palacios from what I remember.

Daniel James of Swansea just absolutely blitzed down the field on what was essentially a solo counter, to score a nice goal. That was incredibly impressive. Let's sign him yesterday.

Here's a nice little write up about Bravo and whole bunch of highly rated Argentine prospects.

There's a lot of raw talent in the Superliga and we weren't afraid to try our luck with Foyth, so hopefully we'll be willing to take another chance.

Well i think 1 things for certain is that this summer he will 100% leave madrid. Every summer has been a 'maybe' as far as bale leaving but this time he will for sure.
Will he go anywhere else other that the pl? No.
From the current top 6 in the pl i think we can remove arse and city for sure. He does not strike me as a klopp player either.
Id love to see him back at nwhl together with kane alli and son and i think we could get him back in great shape. Stranger things have happened and we need somebody of his magnitude.

Are you his agent?

Looks hell of a prospect. His pace has looked terrifying in this game. We should be all over him, get Poch working on other aspects of his game and he’d be a star.
If not, he’ll likely be next Seasons Brooks as in we should have gone for him when his price was lower.

Was just about to post the same. Brooks looks quality, but we could do a lot worse than taking a punt on Daniel James from Swansea. Just destroyed Brentford time and time again whenever he had the ball.

Frightening pace and could use both feet.

There's a lot of raw talent in the Superliga and we weren't afraid to try our luck with Foyth, so hopefully we'll be willing to take another chance.

I disagree with a lot of those descriptions. Most of them are being overrated. I feel a lot of them are there just to have 50 players to fill the list.

In the description of Claudio Bravo, it says "Claudio Bravo is certainly no Juan Pablo Sorín as yet but the Banfield youngster has developed into one of the Superliga’s top full backs". He has played only 11 games in his career, and he's 21 yrs old. Even without ever watching him, I can assure you he's nowhere near the top full backs in the league or else there would be at least a link or a rumour with any of the big 5 clubs.

I'll give you my take on that list
50. Cubas - shit
49. Veron - Don't know him. No idea
48. Lovera - average
47. Bustos - above average, but not good enough for Europe
46. Perez - Top prospect. U20 captain. Already signed for Atl. Madrid
45. Colidio - Rated but looked average to me the times I saw him
44. Romero - Good prospect.
43. De la Vega - Top prospect. Really like him. Wish River would sign him as he's a fan
42. Chancalay - With potential but average so far
41. Carranza - Don't know him
40. Pellegrini - Good prospect. Still extremely raw
39. Bravo - Don't know him
38. Rodriguez - Average
37. Werner - Shit
36. Montiel - Above average. Good defensively and a workhorse, but not very good offensively
35. Robertone - Average
34. Reniero - Average
33. Alvarez - Top prospect
32. Fernandez - Has been playing good, but he's average imo. If he gets a transfer to a bigger team, we'll see if he's good enough
31. Godoy - Good player
30. Reynoso - Extremely talented, but doesn't have mental strength and has problems outside football
29. Barboza - shit
28. MacAllister - average
27. Almendra - good prospect
26. Martinez Quarta - looked a good prospect but his progress stalled
25. Almada - Top prospect
24. Maroni - Top prospect
23. Senesi - good prospect
22. Dominguez - Top prospect. Really like him
21. Martinez - Average. Too small to be a CB
20. Romero - overrated
19. Balerdi - overrated. He was extremely shit for the U20, but Dortmund payed a lot for him, so there's must be something about him
18. Zaracho - above average
17. Bustos - Top prospect, even though his progress stalled
16. Vargas - Great prospect. Will definitively be transferred to Europe in the next couple of windows
15. Franco - Good prospect. He had some problems outside football
14. Gonzalez - overrated
13. Barco - top player, and big game player, but ruined his career going to the MLS imo
12. Caseres - average
11. Driussi - Was the best player of the league before he moved to Russia where it didn't work out for him so far

I don't know who are the 10 missing. I assume Pavon and Palacios will be the top 2. Matias Vargas should be the #3 imo.
Ferreira from River, Gaich from San Lorenzo and Moreno from Newell's are top prospects that are missing from that list
