Seems to have Lamelaesque levels of one-footedness.
Always seems to come up with left footed players for some reason. He’s not one footed, he’s just left footed.

Hope I’m wrong but my father in law who is a big Chelsea fan told me last night that Lloyd Kelly is on loan at Bristol City from Chelsea. Is that right?
Atal has been excellent this season - one of the leagues stand out players. However he has been accused by Vieira of too much individualism and not playing for the team ie. being a player who looks great in highlights but lacks the mentality for the top level.I have actually managed to see an OGC Nice game in September last year when I was in Cannes on vacation. Atal got subbed on around the 60 minute mark and later got booked for a dive in the penalty area. However I remember him quite well because he had blistering speed and great technique. He almost felt like a winger.
Other than that the game was really poor and I can see why people are questioning the quality of Ligue 1. It was Championship quality at best.
He will want to end the transfer window with a profit even if it takes all summer of haggling to eventually end up with target E on the list, that is the scenario of what awaits us this summer stadium or CL isn't going to change the business model even more so with the cost of the build he will want that recouped quickly as possible.when I said in the Poch thread I don't expect to change much on our spending, what I should of said we won't be having a window that equals silly money. when you consider we spent 42m on Sanchez, 40m on the Palace kid considering either Aurier or Trippier will head out means that it's something I would expect the club to try and get done.
yes we have a big debt on the stadium to pay off, but Levy also knows to put bums on seats we will need to spend to progress. we all know Arsenal took some time, but even they would still spend more than they sold most of the time. Levy will want CL football at least every season, and that won't be always possible with a net spend
Wan Bissaka is defensively brilliant, but I really like the look of Aarons too. He’s super athletic, aggressive and brave defensively, and looks very comfortable on the ball. Either would be welcome in the summer.

@Shadydan what are you confused about mon ptit chou ?
Mate I do along with others totally understand that the club will want CL for the obvious reasons you mentioned, but i can't see the club investing heavily in the marketplace I still see the usual policy persist for the foreseeable future. What you don’t seem to understand is without CL the club will not be making massive profits, Europa league will not fill the stadium even at the prices they charge for the comp. Levy will want CL football, and he will also see that this season it’s becoming a struggle caused by lack of investment.
He has only made a profit in the transfer market 4 times since they took over 19 years ago. He never made a profit the season we signed Sanchez, so why does that mean we will never bye a player in the 40+m bracket. Even if he still leaves it late there will be new arrivals, because if he doesn’t he knows CL will be a struggle to get, and knows he won’t get ST sold. Don’t achieve that no one would even consider buying the club off them, or sponsoring us.
If I was buying a defender from Nice I would go for Malang Sarr - 20 yo left footed centre back who has been a first team regular for several seasons already. Learned alongside Dante. Real leadership qualities.
I don’t know how much he would cost but probably good value in £20-30m. Last player I felt like that about was Ndombele and loads of y’all made N’jokes and now you’d sell your aunt to have him.
Edit: France has an embarrassment of riches at CB. Varane, Umtiti, Pavard, Hernandez, Laporte would all start for any other country in the world. Kimpembe and Rami are quality. And the youth players coming through... oof!
I agree. I think one aspect we really miss is the energy and athleticism of our full backs. Alexander Arnold is far from perfect and makes mistakes whereas Robertson was at a very poor team and not considered a top LB when Liverpool bought him yet they've both stepped up and offer vibrancy, energy and tenacity, I would trade what we have for all of that because we'd be much more dangerous. If Wan Bissaka is off the table we should make Norwich an offer they can't refuse for Aarons - Poch can really develop a player with his attributes - see Walker and Rose before he arrived. As mentioned before, I like the look of both of Norwich fullbacks. Aarons seems to get more of the hype, but the LB Jamal Lewis looks a very exciting prospect already to me.
Both get up and down very well, are regular starters handling the physicality of quite a brutal league. Seem to have all the basics we would look for in the way we utilise our fullbacks.
Of course, a gulf in class between the EFL and Premier league, but a quick glance at Liverpool's fullbacks and it still reminds that if you're good enough, age doesn't matter, and that top fullbacks can be produced as opposed to buying ready made stars.
CM and of course if Eriksen and Alderweireld leave will need addressing, but I certainly believe fullbacks are key to our play and ours are not consistent enough or suited to the style we play.
You spent 220mil on 9 players and we still have the same left backs....ouch
That would only be good on a computer game where groups of humans don’t have fragile cultures. Change must be gradual.
