So we are within our rights to tell RM who they can and can't do buisness with just because we're selling them a player? That's a joke in itself.

Where are JJ and Akqa when you need them?

C'mon, one of you tell us what (if anything) is going on!

A joke? They want to buy one of our best players, we're well within our rights to ask Real not to strengthen our fiercest rivals in a position that we now need a replacement for. Do you think Real would negotiate with us if we were trying to sell Bale to Barca behind their backs? Fuck off they would.

Levy likely hit a ballpark figure with them. Then the moment that is done the Sahin to Liverpool deal dies, then they leak their original derisory offer being accepted and the Sahin to scum deal is suddenly almost completed. Real have not been negotiating in good faith this summer and you expect our chairman to let that slide?

One side says AVB doesn't want him the other says Sahin didn't wanna come. But that still doesn't make sending him to the scum acceptable. They beat us to 3rd by a single point last season, allowing them to continue to strengthen on our behalf would be absurd.

They already are much improved from last season imo, with the only question mark is the strikers situation as RVP was something else last season. If steve Bould coaches that defence in the same way as graham they will be challenging for the title if Giroud is a hit

Ok. So what does putting a couple of million on modrics price do to stop the sahib to arsenal do. Levy fucks about every window. We are a shambles of a club at the moment. Can you blame sahin for not wanting to come to a club with one pretty average striker on their books.

I rather doubt he was checking the first team squad page on the OS before he made his mind up

Actual possible intel anyone?

@Gards44
So the spanish striker is proving tough to get on to the next.......This name has not even been mentioned at all! #Thfc

Refers to a premier league striker who have enquired about who will be 'hard to get'. No other clues.o_O

I love the way one dodgy, uncorrobrated article appears saying that Modric to Madrid is off and we instantly get irate posters ranting at Daniel Levy.

Calm down children. We no aboslutely NOTHING about our negotiations with Madrid.

Heh! before you put your research hat on, they're not Spanish (the Spanish bit at the start refers to Llorente), seems the striker in question is Edin Dzeko.

Mark me down as...meh.

Ah right, thank God I'm a link whore I guess. Totally misread. I'd be very happy with Dzeko myself.

Sounds like we'll get a deal done for Joao if that Journo is accurate.

This is just the fee, wait 'till we have to negotiate the wages!

"Mr Joao, what a pleasure it is to finally meet you, both I and Mr Boas esteem you most highly. I am pleased to hear that you are eager to join Tottenham and I feel you could be a cornerstone in our team for many years to come. With that in mind, how does a packet hard boiled sweets (slightly sticky as they've been in my pocket), an old Commodore 64 and a signed (by me) copy of Now That's What I Call Music 34 sound to you?"
