With dempsey confirmed its a disappointing window. From the possibility of moutinho to dempsey is a kick in the testes, i can only hope DL bucks his ideas up for future windows, but have a feeling he wont.

When have we had a better window?

I went to bed and we agreed a fee with porto, I wake and Dempsey is at spurs lodge after Moutinho falls through

it would have been a good window had VDV stayed and imo he could only go if Moutinho came, but since VDV left with no replacement and Dempsey came in as a stop gap imo since we have not been able to find a back up striker, its been disappointing

we just lost a guy who last week won over 100 caps for Holland:cry:

FWIW, and these are probably the last desperate clutching at straws, but....

Mike Bridge just tweeted at ESPNFC saying it's not true that we've missed out on Moutinho

It's done!!!

My head in all day. How could we agree a fee with a player to find out with minutes to go that his wage is too high an he doesn't want it reduced. Only spurs. FML

Wages were probably done a month ago, if a player wants to come these days it's often the first thing sorted, it'll have been 3rd party ownership bollocks and dodgy Zahavi that scuppered it.

Yet we still allow him to be around the club, sit in our boxes during matches and continue to deal with him

What else can you do? You play nice and cultivate a relationship or you cut him out and know that that will end up biting you. Unfortunately twats like him wield considerable power. More unfortunately, they are in a certain russian's pocket.

Is it May already? or January?

It isn't Dempsey in place of Moutinho. You may not be aware but they play in different positions.

How about waiting until the team actually lines up before deciding? Or is that too sensible? I am pleased with the signings, Moutinho would be the crowning glory. We've signed 6 first team players and you say it's disappointing.. weird.
