Kinda surprised by Lesniak after being involved in the last three games. Don't know enough about the others.

Lesniak must be gutted .but must have been a final chance .but quite clear he's not a patch on winks or onomah

Lesniak, McDermott, Muscatt, Owens, Styliandes, Velasco are all released

I wonder if Josh Onomah's sound performances in a deep CM role at the U20s World Cup are a factor in the release of Lesniak.

Whilst Lesniak seems to have a good attitude and did well in his limited first team appearances, clearly Onomah has far greater potential as a CM. As does Harry Winks.

Re Lesniak I doubt it, these decisions are made long before they are announced so JO form in u20 WC not a factor. I think they were giving him the exposure to increase his chances of finding a decent club.

Pretty sure Lesniak could have been given a contract and then flogged for a few quid, though if he sees his future back home/Europe then being available on a free might make things easier for him.

I saw his instagram. Looked like he's had trials/training days at every club in the country and they all wanted to sign him. Utd offered him one, but...

(family must be in London, still chose Spurs over Chels and the goons though)

Lesniak gone! Wow

Has onomah had a good tournament? I haven't seen any games but was shocked he didn't even get on the pitch in the semi

No real surprise re: Lesniak. He was only on the bench due to injuries to Winks, Onomah being with U20 etc.

Never really cut it when I saw him.

Some suggestions that he didn't want to sign a new deal...

Imo that's the left side CB fault he gets drawn over when there's no need .if he stays in position he would have covered the goal scorer .the scorer is virtually in the centre of goal .KWP tries to cover CB mistake but doesn't get there in time that's how I see it
As much as I don't want to blame him, KWP was at fault despite the CB being out of position. He tracking back with the goal scorer but allowed the goal scorer then to go on his blindside. The rest as they say is history

No way, Lesniak has never been a player who would be involved with the first team

Im surprised he left as we could have got a couple of £100k for him but this had nothing to do with Onomah
