id go as far as to take to the World Cup in the summer. I rate him that highly
Nah. He's extremely talented but that's far, far too much pressure to put on a someone who's still just a boy, seemingly had his personal issues at Man City and has zero senior experience. It could do far more harm than good for his development. If he keeps developing well Euro 2020 should be the target for him.

Tbh I've Co sobered the idea of putting Foden or Sancho in England squad they have more talent than most of the attacking talent in England, and it would be easier for Foden to break into that than City's squad. But it would of course never happen, but o don't know why not. If he did well for England City would have to play them. If the PL aren't going to give young English players opportunities England might as well

he will be in the Dortmund team within a month. Imo if he's good enough to play for Dortmund he's good enough for England, especially when you look at the options we have.

I wouldn't bring him in just now, closer to the end of the season. Sancho is the real deal and id have no worries of his ability to play at that level

We'll see - I'm less convinced. IF he goes and plays well and consistently for Dortmund over the next few months then of course he's worth a look, but that's not something we should count on. It's a huge ask for a kid of that age.

Dortmund apparantly have recalled him as he will start this weekend. If he gets a decent run of games and does well there will be a big clamour to take him as a wildcard.Said before if we are 0-0 with Iceland after 70 mins and you look to your bench.who would you rather Ox lingard vardy Or Sancho it really is a no brainer.I think sancho has upper hand on Foden at this stage on a physical level.Foden still looks quite immature. But I think sancho could compete physically.

He must be fuming.Gonna miss experience of a lifetime with his mates. For what sitting on bench with Dortmund. If he was German there’s absolutely no way they’d withdraw him,it’s a disgrace tbh.If there’s no fitness issue ,country should always get precedent over club. What if we meet Germany in final How is that possibly fair.Hopefully will cause a rift with Dortmund.

They can't have withdrawn him in order to fly him over to Cyprus tonight because he can't play. Dortmund have two Bundesliga games and a cup game against a third division team between now and the u-17 final a week on Sunday. If he doesn't get game time in any of those then you have to wonder what the point of withdrawing him is. Even then, is a cup game against a third division team so much better than potentially winning a World Cup with your age group?

Incidentally, England are on course to meet Germany in the semi-final.

With regards to Jadon Sancho who seems to be being elevated to 'God' like status. I live close to the Etihad and have seen Jadon a number of times and whilst he has potential he is not as good as you think in my opinion. I was quite staggered to see Dortmund pay £8m for him but he does have significant weaknesses in his game. Three things stand out for me and they are that he does not seem to have peripheral vision (a major ingredient in the great players), has the ego the size of our new stadium (as opposed to our Harry) and he his a useless defender. This last point was highlighted by his performance in the defeat to Spain in the European U17 final. He was easily marked out of the game by a very organised Spanish defence with Sancho offering very little up front, unfortunately because he rarely tracks back (after losing the ball too easily) the left back Lewis Gibson (not the greatest of defenders) was left very exposed. If I was an England colleague I would have been quite pissed off with him. Of course I want him to prove me wrong since I am a big England fan but lets not get to carried away with the hype.

No idea how Brewster keeps his place, apart from a goal from a very good free kick, he has looked fairly hopeless upfront, missing more than a few sitters.

Tbf Foden & Sancho are totally different type of players.

Foden is probably my favourite young English player atm. He’s technically superior than everyone. Hopefully City keep buying abroad and he leaves otherwise they have the next Silva ready and waiting

When Guardiola was bugging him up in the summer I said I bet he doesn't play a single minute of premier league football. So far so good.

They will buy players rather than using the academy.
