Nice experience for Brandon Austin, Jaden Brown, Jon Dinzeyi, Anthony Georgiou, TOB & Alfie Whiteman.

Still no Danny Rose (Injured), no Son (injured), no Lamela (injured), no Sissoko (???), no Bennetts (he'll be disapointed), no Edwards (we're all disappointed), no Glover (away with Australia I believe), no Roles (Boo!), no Sterling (very surprised), no Shashoua (a little disappointing).

Dinzeyi ahead of Tanganga & Eyoma, and Georgiou ahead of Shashoua are the biggest surprises for me.

No Marcus Edwards is the biggest disappointment.

No Sterling either, after we were told he was going to the US.

Sissoko (virus)

Edwards, would guess is the 21 days rest mentioned by BC yesterday.
Shashoua was given some first team time end of the season, and maybe they want to spread it around?

Surprised no Sterling, injured?

Kevin Stewart is about to sign for Hull for £8m

Was always bit surprised by his opportunities with Pool, he really isn't all that good at all. He's an adequate replacement for Livermore who Hull just sold to West Brom. £8m is a decent recoup for the Scousers considering they got him for nought.

Works hard. Trains well. Has ability. A good player to have around. Is he just short of the required standard, yeh, definitely but he's clearly always been popular with the coaches.

No problem with any of this, and I'm fine with a good attitude to training and learning from the coaches being rewarded with a tour place.

My only quibble is that, after CCV, Tanganga (not Dinzeyi) appears to be our standout CB prospect and is already listed as part of our development squad.

Meanwhile, with Rose injured, I note that Jaden Brown got the back-up LB spot ahead of NIck Tsaroulla.

Seen a rumour a while ago that Jaden Brown had really kicked on and was rated very highly within the club?

Along with a young player who got called up to train with englands senior squad dylan something?
