I think LB/LWB is going to be an interesting one.
Rumours are that Rose may be sold.
On his day, Rose is without doubt the best LB/LWB in the league, however, Davies has really kicked on in his absence.
Now behind those two, we have Jaden Brown, Keenan Bennetts, and also Nick Tsaroulla. We're in a strong position.
Throw in the potential for signing Sessegnon, and does Rose look so crucial??
Hinds pushing on at RB. Tanganga at CB. Skipp and TOB in midfield.

Is bennetts good enough for us to not pursue sessegnon? Although I'd like sess, I'd prefer us not to become player hoarders like Chelsea and just promote our own

So pleasing to hear other fans also say this and not just, buy all the best players, competition only makes players better, rhetoric.

I believe he is a better attacker than Sessegnon, especially as his final ball is improving. Defensively Sessgnon is better though, but then I also prefer Bennetts as a winger, but this would imply they want to continue to use him as a LWB.

I've got to be honest here IG, I believe Sessegnon is the better prospect, he has pace, and is more composed and consistent with his decision making and execution in forward areas than Bennetts.

If I had to choose, I'd take Sessegnin all day long, I think the kid's a bit special actually and has that rare combination of speed, technique and a decent brain.

it'll be such a shame if josh doesnt get his chance with us in centermid.

He won't leave. He is top quality. I believe everyone knows his technique is brilliant for his age but he was definitely weak and lacked positional knowledge. Sending him on loan to a tough league was the right way to address those issues imo.

what im worried about is signing Barkley and him getting force feed into a cm role. while along with Winks, Dier, Wanyama and Dembele there wont be the opportunity for Josh. I don't mind Barkley signing if he is used as an attacking midfielder but that isnt the vibes im getting from the club.
