Edwards trained with the England Senior Team yesterday apparently.
I saw that, surprised me as aren't they at St George's Park rather than our training ground? Great experience for him (even though it is 1/2 of a proper England Team)

I wonder if we requested it on the off chance southgate might agree.

U20s only have a friendly was probably thought not such a big deal to take one of their players.Still fun for him.wonder how he got on.

Does anyone know how Troy Parrott is getting on? Heard he is very talented but is often away on international duty.

I watched him play in the Victory Shield, I can only find 2 of the games on youtube. In general I do like him and he looks a very good player. He is one who catches the eye especially with his low socks and tall/stocky frame. Against NI I thought he came across as talented but very careless. He had an arrogance about him and strolled a bit but they clearly saw him as a threat. He would start running when the ball came close to him. He strangely reminded me of Ibrahimovic or Berbatov in that sense. He along with Okoflex were the most threatening players.

Against Scotland he was better, and he was at the heart of all of their good moves, he has a powerful shot and carries the ball well. he actually played as a no.10 for ROI. He should some skill and good feet and a nasty side as he hacked Dembele (the smallest player on the field) in frustration.

Overall I'm very excited by him, I think he would look good playing with our very talented academy players, I'd be interested to see how he plays as an actual 9. I can't be arsed to go through and pick out moments, but if you just click to half time in both those matches it will show very brief highlights. In the NI games he scores a pen, against Scotland his shot from outside the box hits the bar and then gets knocked in. You should be able to tell who he is as you watch but if you're not sure he is the no.9. Also against Scotalnd there was a moment where he stood up the defender on the side of the box, with some stepovers and chipped the ball which hit the post after going over the keepers head. The commentators also were very complimentary saying how everything goes through him and he is almost a one man team. Seems like good scouting so far.

Really looking forward to U17 World Cup.Had a few quid on us at 9/1.Anyone informed on a good pick for top scorer.Any real world superstar strikers in the other teams?whos the kid Real Madrid bought for silly money,is he playing?

Could be worth putting money on Brewster, as he will be getting fed by some quality players, and generally does well for Liverpool.

Otherwise looking at Arp and Gouiri who both scored a lot of France and Germany in the Euros, those sides will create chances too, so unless they don't go worth looking at them.

Shame Vinicius Junior isn't going would love to have seen him against our boys, and have some of our boys show him up. This age group have beaten Brazil a couple of times already I think, so will keep the rivalry going if they meet.

Also bit of bad news, it appears Sancho is still with Dortmund, hopefully they release him as there are some very good sides going and would love everyone to have their strongest 11. If he doesn't go, it seems as though Colombia haven't called up Poveda, so if he is still eligible for us I'd go him, Richard or Barlow. I'd prefer Richards to Smith-Rowe even.

I hope you ended up placing that bet

Got us 9/1 for a tidy £200 :) they didn’t have a price on top goalscorer unfortunately. But was looking for the Brazilian kid,but that info was wrong anyway as he never played.Interestingly saw a clip on twitter of club game his team was losing 1-3 he came on as sub and they won 4-3 :eek:think he is still 16.
