Sess did nothing tonight.watched him a few times now and not totally convinced by what he offers.certainly wouldnt want us spending more than 20mil on him as would be a massive gamble.

I can't blame you for this post because tonight he really did do nothing, so if this is the first time you've watched him for 90 minutes, it's a reasonable, albeit kneejerk reaction.

But you're still wrong :)

No one said he isnt
Hes also had a awesome season. He just seems to have a knack of putting the ball in the net too but he doesnt seem to have a trick and i dont see him as a wide offensive player. At 17 the world could be at him feet but is no guarantee he would become a star.

But when he becomes a star, he'll be out of our reach.

Having seen off SV Rödinghausen 2-0 and then drawn 1-1 with Lokomotiv Moscow on Thursday, we beat VfB Stuttgart 3-0 and Werder Bremen 1-0 today (Friday) to top our group with 10 points from a possible 12 in the annual Stemwede competition.
It means we'll face Red Bull Brazil, runners-up to Fulham in the other group, on Saturday (10.30am UK) for a place in the final. Fulham will face Werder Bremen in the other semi.
Jack Roles and Samuel Shashoua have been our chief marksmen so far, scoring six goals between them, while goalkeeper Charlie Freeman, who endured an injury-hit domestic season with our Under-18s, kept clean sheets in his two outings against Rödinghausen and Werder Bremen.
Playing games of 20 minutes each way, we hit the ground running on Thursday with midfielder Roles netting on 10 and 27 minutes to give us a 2-0 victory over Rödinghausen. Striker Kazaiah Sterling opened the scoring against Lokomotiv Moscow later in the day on 17 minutes but we were pegged back six minutes into the second half and were held to a draw.
Friday morning saw attacking midfielder Samuel Shashoua, starting for the first time alongside younger brother Armando, fire us into a seventh-minute lead against Stuttgart before doubling his tally six minutes later. Brandon Austin stood firm in goal and Roles completed a 3-0 victory 12 minutes from time.
Then, facing off with Werder Bremen, who had also taken seven points from their opening three games, for top spot, we battled to a 1-0 win thanks to Samuel Shashoua's 20th-minute effort.
We last reached the semi-finals of the competition in 2015 when we lost out to Liverpool but coach Wayne Burnett will be eyeing further progress this time around as we reach the business end of the tournament on Saturday.

Given these games are only 40 minutes long, 3 wins out of 4 is excellent. Also makes Roles + Shashousa's 6 games in 4 games (160 minutes) look very impressive!

Can honestly say I’ve seen him 10-15 times this season and never seen him play well. Score yes but play well not especially. I think if Sancho or Hudson odoi we’re at a championship club they’d be in same situation having played a lot. He’s 18 next week I think. I really don’t see it as an attacking player, full back possibly. But if we do sign him, won’t be long before he’s getting stick imo 18 or not. It’s funny when I watch him and he gets in a one on one with a full back, I literally say ok come on let’s see what you got. And invariably it’s not very much.

Fair enough. I will respectfully disagree as I think he has everything he needs (including attitude) to be a real star, but accept your view of course!

Edit: Oh and by the way I fully agree about Sancho and Hudson-Odoi. I think they will both be top tier PL players in in the future too (i.e. ability to be top 6 team starters). Only question with Hudson Odoi is he's developed physically quite early - always going to advantage you at this point.

See Rhian Brewster looks likely to leave Liverpool. Not surprising he ain’t getting a look in with their front 3.

Wonder if he will be tempted by the Bundesliga too. Very possible.

Hope Angel Gomes goes to the Bundesliga too, not just because of the lack of chances in PL but more because regardless I don't hink he'll be physically ready for the PL for a while. He has already suffered quite a few injuries, but seems quite weak from limited viewing this season. So his development will be really delayed

However, if he went to the Bundesliga or Eredivise it would be perfect for him to express himself. Another incredibly talented and silky player who seems to have fallen down the pecking order due tot he successes of those around him. Get himself abroad and show everyone his serious talent.

I feel like a good route for the likes of Gomes would be Eredivisie --> Bundesliga --> PL (if they even want to come back).

Ye that would be best. Similar to want Mount is doing, who I really hope he doesn't go to Reading, as the papers suggest, and goes to Bundesliga to carry on developing.

As you say if they even want to come back none of them should return until they are at least 21, if that starts happening England will finally have real quality. Wish Ajax did take Edwards on a 2 year loan, that would have been quality

speaking of edwards, i can't believe this was three years ago tomorrow -

so sad how his career has(or hasn't) gone since. really thought it wouldn't be too long until he was doing this in the first team.

He offers that most precious of things the ability to score and make goals. He is rightly worth a fortune.
