Sissoko might be bigger, but barring half a dozen 'power runs' a season there is absolutely no footballing metric where he is better. Attack, defence, technique, vision, work rate, positional game, game/space awareness etc, etc.

The only qualities that guy has is as a comfort blanket to managers making ultra pragmatic, cowardly decisions.

I'd take any half-decent youth prospect instead of him. In fact, I'd take any half decent footballer (man, woman, or child) on the planet.

Anyway, back on topic.....

Respectfully, I disagree about work rate, defensive ability and space awareness (creating space for others with his runs) but that is the joy of football. Different opinions!

Back on topic, looking at players who could be moved up to the first team if we can sell Sissoko (and that depends on Dembele's staying/leaving). Wanyama, Winks, Dembele and Dier would leave space for one more but I don't know if Onomah will be around (probably another loan) or if any of the other prospects are ready.

When I first started reading this thread it was the best on SC as it was informative and focused mainly on updating people about the players, matches, contracts etc. Lately it is all about opinion and the same repetitive argument about Poch giving youth players a chance/not giving them a chance etc. Unfortunately this just feels like every other thread on here now and has definitely lost its unique appeal.

Haha he enjoys leading people on on Twitter doesn’t he our Reo? Fingers crossed he’s signing with us. Have a feeling he’s staying now.

Am I the only one who’s tired of him? I know he’s still young but I don’t like his personality, everything has to be about him. I want him to sign a new contract with us but if he were to leave I wouldn’t be super mad unlike some Spurs fans who’s never seen him play would

He’s a plank. Scored a lot of goals at youth level...so what....remember Jamie Slabber...disappeared without trace. Make way for a proper player....the boy Parrott

Think we should cut Reo a bit of slack here. Nothing to suggest he has a bad attitude - nothing wrong with a bit of arrogance in a footballer. Also think the fact he’s been considering a move to Germany should be taken as a positive. To me that’s a clear sign he’s considering the development of his career over money.

Jamie slabber was unlucky, injuries wrong time, manger getting sacked.

I see a few funny ratings, my mates related to slabber and his football career was unlucky, not saying he was at premiership level, just he was very un lucky with his football careeer.

Have to disagree. Did we see anything like this from KWP ? No we didn’t KWP just seems a hard working grounded kid. Not saying Reo isn’t hard working I have no idea. But there’s no question he is attention seeking and flash. Just to add arrogance is fine when you’re Ibra. Let him actually score a PL goal before we get the whole big I am routine.

Didn’t say he has a bad attitude but his personality is annoying, you get the feeling that he sees himself as a superstar because a few fans are raving about him. But yeah he’s still young and I want him to sign a new contract but if he did go to Germany I wouldn’t blame him

Bloody hell, Reo has shown he has something about him but he really does love this attention. It's not even like he's getting a crazy amount of attention either, I'd say Edwards gets more. Attention seeking at this age is a little irritating, he needs someone to tell him to put the phone down occasionally, might say something he'll regret one day. And yes I'm aware he's 17. Hope he stays though.

Reo reminds me of Adebayor. I hope he lives up to his hype and chills out on the social media.

Disclaimer: he's still a kid and I and many others were ****s at his age.

I hate this type of thing - he needs to be a young professional...this is PROFESSIONAL football after all.

Flash gits rarely succeed at the top level...let's hope he spends a bit more time with Harry Kane to learn what it takes to be the world's best centre forward.

I can categorically assure you that this really isn’t the case at all.

With the kids it goes one of two ways they either immediately get sounded out as the greatest thing ever or if they don't come in and make an immediate impact they are suddenly ready for the scrap heap.

I think on the whole Sissoko has not been as bad as some of us think and if a kid had performed to his level and showed the maturity then people probably would be excited by him where the truth is often somewhere in between
