Edwards signed

mate I know from a very reliable source that we did everything in our power to keep Edwards , he was promised things, that we as a club were not ready to give him, but basically forced to, or loose him . We GAVE IN . Where did it get him ? It proves he was not ready . Do you honestly think he was ready last year for first team football whether it was physically or mentally , he was not ready . Now you are seeing a similar situation with Griffiths , physically he may be ready but mentally he is not . Before you say he is , just going by all his social media rubbish shows he is immature . The minute he does not get picked or does not go his way , he’s off to a club who’s promising him this and that . This is not the first time tottenham have had problems with him , surely you can see that ? I have no doubt that we will give in to him and his agent . Rightly or wrongly time will tell .
Both these players are talented but what you need to realise is it’s so easy to get carried away in the glamorous life of a footballer . That is when you need good advice .
I hope both go on to prove me wrong , but as it stands unless they change their mentality it’s going to be bloody hard !

Has Edwards done anything remotely as fucking idiotic, crass and out of order as Rose did in a national newspaper?

Jesus, is all this fucking hoo ha about Griffiths re-tweeting about Barca being interested in him? Fuck me, if I was 17 I'd want all my mates to see it. Jesus wept, all these kids now live their lives like this. I don't like it, but lets keep some perspective, and remember they are still just kids, kids fuck up, all the time. I know I did.

And, on ability and mentality, Edwards was ready to play first team football minutes and cup games etc over a year ago. He might also be a chippy little ****, who isn't quite conforming to the behavioural blue print but he hasn't posted a video saying that his manager is a faggot who sucks Ibra's dick, or been nicked for assaulting someone, like one of the player's we were happy to buy last summer for 25m.

Of course any player with us needs to show respect and work hard, and not be a tw*t. But lets not pretend that being a tw*t is confined to the kids in our set up.

Last Chance U is an incredible show.

some of there story's are amazing/horrific, what is sad though as soon as they leave they fuck it up, its like there scared to try in case they succeed. Also makes you appriate however much we want to give youth a chance, American football is so brutal there is only NFL and one small mistake can ruin your future, how many premiership footballers would have not had there whole career taken away for punching a girl in a nightclub at 17 yrs old?

This is a pretty common theme among those with behavioural problems, or addictions. Self-sabotage through not showing up, or getting plastered means you take that inner fear of failure away.

Just got a text from my mate. Nick tsaroulla has been released. Such a shame.
That's a real pity and in contrast to how the club stood by Joe Pritchard.

If Tsaroulla's getting released then it all but confirms that Brown is too as Tsaroulla is the superior player IMO.

It's unusual for our club to release players who just back from bad injury. Only reason I can think of is that his injury is very bad. So he's forced to retire. Hope I'm wrong

It is part due to the injury/sickness but he thinks he's fit and was asking to play.

Really don't know too much about it as my mate hasn't seen nicks dad for a couple of months.

As harsh as it may be I think clubs generally only stick by players who were injured representing the club. As Tsaroulla was injured on his own time he isn't covered by the convention of offering the extra year. Could be wrong in this case but its definitely a criteria that I've come across elsewhere.

What happened to him?

He was in a car crash, I don't think it was too serious, but I believe it gave him whip lash, from what I remember reading on here. Hasn't played at all this year and may have even stretch into previous season. Can't remember exactly

Yeah he got whip lash, then after he had problems with his stomache that they eventually found out was coming from his neck.

Little fender bender on a roundabout.

The slightest dings can derail a life. A coworker hit her head slightly in a car wreck and now can’t read for longer than 10 minutes or being in overly bright environments. It’s been 2 years.

Watched the U21 game against China earlier. Fucking turgid stuff. Really turgid. I just don't now what it will take for the FA to jettison Boothroyd and appoint someone who can coach football.
