great news on hinds.

wonder what that means for reynolds though as every other 2nd year is now on a pro, even freeman.

How on earth has Charlie Freeman done that? :ROFLMAO:

Barely played in the last two years and when he has he's been pretty shaky. Its quite extraordinary.

Haven't seen him play once, really strange

I wouldn't take it too literally. Keanan Bennetts is listed as having signed an extension.

i think that was the club's option to extend by a year so we got a fee for him. most of those who sign pros(bar the likes of onomah etc) only sign 1+1 deals. i suspect reo didn't want to lock himself in for two years so signed an extension to his scholarship instead.

The reports weren't that he was late for a training session, it was that he was late for EVERY training session (link below), which there is no excuse for. According to @WindyCOYS at the time, Matt Law is well connected at Spurs, so likely to be true.

I didn’t say “a” training session. But you’re right, that doesn’t paint a great picture. But we had similar stuff from newspapers about Bentaleb recently, which turned out to be heavily exaggerated.

Trying to dismiss the issue as just Edwards getting lost heavily implies it was only once, unless you're saying the kid is so thick he gets lost every day going to the same place.

I was suggesting a 19yo might have issues finding his way to a new work place is all.

I also don’t understand why, if he was so bad at Norwich, they kept giving decent reports of his progress and put him on the bench and gave him a few minutes. Doesn’t completely tally with someone completely pissing everyone off, every day, does it?

Griffiths is third year of schol.

I guess it makes sense in context. We would have wanted to have the security of having him on a 2 or 3 year professional where as he clearly wants to keep his options open and an extra year probably gives him that. If he sees himself making no progress then he can easily walk away. The thing is, as much as I like him, I just can't see him being ready in 12 months time.

Cy Goddard (can't remember if he's still with us) is going to Benevento in Italy apparently.

https://gianlucadimarzio.com/en/tottenham-youth-player-cy-goddard-set-for-move-to-benevento

He left a year ago, or was it two, I can't even remember. He trialled over in Japan (his mother is Japanese) with Yokohama but wasn't offered a deal. I think I heard something about him informally training with us for a while but I certainly couldn't confirm that. Where he's been since then I have no idea but he certainly hasn't been under contract because we haven't registered him with the Premier League.

Maybe he showed up to training on time for that one week? I mean if he was really making strides and actually taking on board what the coaches were asking, would Norwich have cancelled the loan? Add to that , wouldn't we have seen Marcus feature in some of the final fixtures of our U23 schedule when he was sent back if he was truly showing improvement?
