Statham and Pochettino are both in that age group which makes it all the more ridiculous. Neither has a hope in hell of having a professional career, imho.

Cannot get my head around that. As you say a professional career looks beyond these two.

For KWP vs Italy, difficult first half with Italy being the more dangerous overall with Moise Kean looking good on the left and drifting into the middle. Second half was more comfortable for England having the majority of the ball, Kean switched to the right. KWP had more involvement building up play and was getting forward more, was nice and tidy on the ball. Nothing spectacular but a decent performance against a good side and having his hands full against a talented young attacker in the first half.

Oxford away in the Checkatrade for the U23's, just down the road for me so I will be there.
That Patterson looks useful, but there is always the risk of being out muscled by a lot of these lumps in league 1

Oxford have a few good players but a lot of dross too, including one of our youth products. One of my mates is an Oxford fan and he says Jon Obika is as bad as any of the worst strikers they had when they were in the Conference 10 years ago.

They haven't lost in 8 games and climbed out of the drop zone in L1 last weekend so if they play a strong side it'll be tough.

Oxford are my second team and I tend to go once or twice a season. The gulf between the prem and L1 is immense in how quickly the ball moves and the quality of passing. Obika has been a flop there and will be struggling to get a decent contract elsewhere when his stint ends. Will be strange being there with split loyalties but I will be backing our U23's!!

Which one is that again? :ROFLMAO: Is Michael the defender or the midfielder?

I'm sure he's the CB/CM. They're so damn confusing. It's trying to work out who's who off the face which is annoying. They look slightly different but it's easily forgotten as we don't have news on them for months at a time.
