Lots of sloppy play so far although the seniors have been as guilty as the youngsters. Aurier is a great advert for KWP, that's all I'm saying.

Unsurprisingly niavety is killing us at the moment. We're trying to build from the back but Girona are far too wily to let us do that.

Commented in the other thread but will ask here - is the constant fouling something they are used to in youth football? Just wondered if it might be putting them off their stride a bit?

We're getting torn a new one. Eyoma hesitates on the half way line, loses it, Girona break, ping pong in the box and it's 4-1.

Eyoma, Brown & Skipp have been suspect but I have to say for someone with his experience Ben Davies has not been helping them one bit. He's been all over the shop.

We're incredibly lucky its not got embarrassing to be honest. They've missed some chances this half.

Watching Girona lead Spurs 4-1 with the last 3 Girona goals caused by rank bad play. First Davies outpaced and naïve then Marsh committing the cardinal sin of not going to meet the ball and lastly Walker-Peters with quite simply a terrible pass. Luke Amos has been very poor especially his passing and Marsh & Oliver Skipp are out of their depth. This being the last friendly before our league game and with 17 full internationals (and hopefully new signings) not playing it is a pretty pathetic pre-season. God knows what Poch is thinking. The only consolation (if you can call it that) is that Davies, Son & Llorente are just as bad as the youngsters.

We should put this in context that no one is suggesting that we field this many youngsters together in competitive games. That said very few of the young players will have improved their reputations here. Son played in the world cup and is probably thinking about his upcoming internationals so I'm going to cut him some slack, Llorente, Davies, Aurier and N'Koudou have no excuse. They've been absolutely piss poor.

I think the Amos hype is going to disappear as quickly as it appeared. He's been pretty poor this game apart form a good interception about 25 yards out followed by a run into the box. Passing, covering, movement, positioning. Its all been off.

It's literally a training game. You have absolutely no idea whether they've had an intense training session or two during the day on top of the game or whatever. Chill and don't read too much into it.

That and the only player that featured from the academy, that I and others have suggested should get fleeting opportunities in the first team is Skipp. It's not like anyone thought they should all be playing for the first team, and tbh I don't think it has made an ounce of difference in Poch's mind anyway. Only one of those that played, at most, would have been seriously considered by him for PL football this season I'd imagine. It was a training exercise and for some of our talented youngsters to have an idea what it's about.

Is the deadline to loan players Thursday too, or do the Football League clubs get a bit longer to do those deals?

Only just seen this but another former Spur has joined Leicester. Right back Louis Ramsey who was with us as a schoolboy and spent the last three years with Norwich before being released has joined Ryan Loft at the Foxes. I assume both will be part of the U23s. Ramsay's only senior experience is from a season long loan spell at Woking in the Conference.

Definitely agree Chelsea and City pay massive wages, offer better development opportunities, and have better academies I wouldn't leave there either.

But Im pretty sure we've also lost more than Liverpool, Arsenal, Everton, United and probably most other PL clubs e.g Southampton, Fulham

we producing good talent, but niether paying the wages, or offering a first team path, so our kids are going abroad it’s not like they are going to rival academies. If Kwp, Amos and skip, get good minutes kids will see a path. I don’t think we are loosing much talent maybe Kirby, and pos Reo, Edwards just reminds me of the kids in last chance U, talented, not a bad kid but just won’t conform or try enough proberly just like Malik Henry the talent is there mentality and desire is not consistent, could be a world beater but only if he really wanted it.

I think KWP was unlucky if we had a better full back we prob would have not sign Auier, also he plays the same side as Sanchez if he was left sided ( really left sided not filling in) I think it would have not been so risky playing him with Verts.
