Exciting times for our youth, Winks taking 8 is a big deal to me, as well as KWP in 16. I probably care too much about shirt numbers though.

I interpret it as they will have a bigger influence this season (including Skipp and Amos who got their own numbers).

not sure who's playing where there, number order would suggest white and maghoma at cb but that would be pretty strange.

also, it seems like statham has somehow managed to get himself promoted to the u23s.

Don't think he'd mind me saying but yeah, BC is gone (for now) for those wondering. He had some legitimate grievances imho, he didn't exactly have a rant or stage a coup as has been rumoured, but he did say some unwise things in an unwise tone and what happened seemed pretty inevitable.

Not sure if he will be back, but would be a loss to the forum.

Sad to hear that. He had his opinions and stuck to them but could always back the up with a rationale and he was always able to agree to disagree. Not a lot of posters do the same. He was a hard headed bugger but fair. I'll miss him.

Good to see Amos get on today, even if only for the last few minutes. Good experience for the lad and I'm happier with this than splashing cash on make weights.

Some of these posts about BC are :LOL::LOL::LOL: . He's not dead, he's on a different forum. I'm sure if he wanted he could make another account or somehow come to a compromise with the mods and keep posting here.

When did Scott Parker leave as one of the youth coaches? Just seen him on the bench for Fulham for their game against Palace.

Who else was collateral damage with BC? i enjoyed his posts tbf, didnt always agree with him but tended to play ball rather than man, a lot of which happened in the itk and transfer threads. Shame if a number of posters have been banned, the more varied the viewpoints the better I'd say, particularly in a thread such as this where it can be a crapshoot trying to work out which yoof will and won't have a chance of progressing to the first 11.

no one got banned because of BC, as far as i'm aware. windy getting banned and finding out the same happened to spursidol ages ago is what sparked him off. @edson hasn't posted in a while either but i think he just left, rather than getting kicked.

The ban of BC is the worst decision that this site has made since I've been here. We've lost one of the most interesting, readable members on the site, even when you didn't agree with what he was saying.

Very disappointed with BC's removal, one of the best footballing posters on here. Agreed with a lot of his opinion on the game, and if I disagreed he would always discuss. Shame.

I think thats why its confusing, as even when you disagreed with him, he wasnt abusive or personal in his rebuttal

Amos looked keen today, but I noticed a couple of times players seemed hesitant to pass to him. When Son broke down the left and Amos made a run into the box, Son hesitated and looked for the pullback to the runner rather than cross to Amos. Couple of other ocassions he made himself available but players looked for other options instead. Trust issue???

In the grand scheme of things I'd rather we place faith in Amos and Georgiou etc than bring in Stambouli and Nkoudou type signings, that we then have to move on for HG quota reasons.

tbf the cut back was the right ball. Amos was in the box, but it would of taken a hell of a ball to find him.

Ultimately, I don't think that there was any reluctance to pass to him I just think that these kind of things happen a lot during the course of a game and when you focus on one player you spot it when it happens much more.
