btw, i'm watching the excelsior game and boy do they look poor(currently 2-0 down at ht). hopefully marcus comes on in the 2nd half.

edit: marcus coming on, 10 mins left. losing 4-2.

bright. annoyingly excelsior had lost their momentum by the time he came on but for the final five mins or so he managed to get involved. beat a player and worked his way into a good area about 20 yards out and should've hit it but passed instead, he was probably mindful of not being selfish. he then nearly won a penalty in stoppage time, turned past a defender who lunged in and maybe just about caught a bit of the ball whilst wiping marcus out. based on that 10 mins i think he can do some damage in that league once he's settled and playing regularly, well i hope so anyway.

won 5-2 (mukendi x2, markanday, clarke, patterson). ex-spur rio glean also scored a late goal for them.

4 wins out of 4 and top of the league (y)

edit: highlights here - https://southamptonfc.com/news/2018...thampton-tottenham-hotspur-u18-premier-league

Really like Clarke's goal as the stepover and cut inside is what really caught my eye before. Hopefully he Has a Bennettsesque 2nd year. Like Bennetts he was good are u18s. For different reasons they had difficult first years but the way we started this season could bring him back to his previous level.

EDIT - also noticed Glean scored for them, hope he settles well there

What type of player Is mukendi ?

Similar to what BG said he used to be a winger, the cut in and bang in type, then I think they experimented with him as a striker at u16s however he has primarily played as a winger for u18s but is limited. We have a lot better wide players.

With Parrott moving up and I think Asante injured atm he might get a little run uptop. He is a good finisher I think and quite athletic so might do quite well. Bit ultimately feels more like a stop gap.

Our u16s also beat Southampton yesterday 3-1 with John x 1, Cooper x 2.

BBW and Hackett also played.

Also I was wondering why Hinds never played against Arsenal but he is injured.

On another note Chelsea u16s beat Arsenal 9-0

Why was Paris shoving Parrot in that arsenal footage?

Cos he was pissed off Parrott got himself sent off for no reason when we were 2 nil down and trying to chase the game.

Maghoma flipped as soon as he saw Parrott push him, and rightly so I think. Passions all well and good but sometimes it's unnecessary and puts your team in a worse position

I get that but I'm not sure there's need for the shove. Pull him away, arm around the shoulder by all means but full on push not sure that's necessary or helpful.

Agree you should never turn on your own team mates.should have handled situation better , really makes him no better then parrott.
But I do think a lot of these u23 are playing for themselves , and not as a team , where as arsenal lads had more togetherness. Young maghoma perhaps getting a little bit carried away having been promoted to u23, quite a few people saying he is out of his depth at the moment , which I do tend to agree with .

don't fancy our chances with such a young line-up but will be a good experience for them nonetheless.

In that picture Marsh looks so much like infamous Leyton Orient manager John Sitton.

They're both young an lost their heads. Parrott let them down first Maghoma should have kept his cool but obviously didn't and let his emotions boil over too. They all want to impress and being 1 down doesn't help that. A lot of these guys are thinking they're playing for their future. Maghoma should have controlled himself better however
