Glad Predder (and you) is back. Shame I couldn't go today but really want to see how he is now after he caught they eye at a young age. Injuries have kept him out but clearly he is one of those players, like Clarke last year, where you have to keep them on just in case. Played a game for England I believe before vetting injured. I do believe that his hairstyle probably contributes to the people rating him highly as he catches the eye more but he is a rally good player.

I have no scientific basis for this but I just believe if you have one player with shirt brown hair and another with a tummy hairstyle you are instantly drawn to the player with the funky hairstyle more. Bit as I say Pedder isba good player and along with Thorpe it will be interesting to see if they can get themselves into this team. Even Clarke was on the bench. What was Markanday's goal like?
Markanday was quiet in the first half but came alive in the second half and as you know when he starts running at players he can be very Dangerous, his goal was good but the best goal of the game was Armando second goal he Dribbled past 2or3 player on the edge of the box and had a good finish at the end of it,Him and J’Neil Bennett was brilliant on the day.

Villa played well for the first 20min they was the best team I have seen at Spurs this year they where well organized very vocal all over the pitch and we could not keep the ball, the problem Villa had was we always looked like scoring when we went forward and as you know the longer the game goes the better we get and other than 5min of the start of the second half we dominated the rest of the game,Troy should have scored 3 he missed a easy tap in the second half he played well on the day.

Brooklyn Lyons-Foster went off injured very early in this match looked like a ankle knock he was still limping at the end of the match but he was walking on it,Harvey White dropped into the back line for a spell.

I will need your help at some point in finding out 3 names of CBs we have that play below the u16s.

Do you know the full time score of the u16s because I was told they was 6-2 down with a fair bit of the game left?

saw someone on twitter mention it finished 7-2.

two of the cbs you're referring to might be brandon bryan-waugh and jordan hackett(also plays lb), both are now u15s. another couple of players to look out for from that age group who impressed me when i saw them are khalon haysman - a ball playing centre mid and roshaun mathurin - left winger similar to j'neil bennett.

not sure about jay but dan is probably daniel ngoma, i can't remember much from the bits i saw of him other than him being very tall as you say.

here's the squad list from the bury game - http://www.spurscommunity.co.uk/ind...th-thread-2018-19.133512/page-21#post-5975237

i'll leave it to @IGSpur to work out who the player is :D

Credit to him, going to a foreign country, he is speaking the language, scored 2 goals got one assist and has got into the teams of the week. All in his first few months playing proper football. Okay the level he is playing at is between league 1 and league two, but he's started very well.

Nice video and interview of the lad, great run at the start.

There's a small chance that he already spoke a bit of Spanish. The full family name is Shashoua-Bey, I believe, and that name originates within Spain's Jewish community. It might be too far back but who knows, he might have family over there.

Mate, with that level of Spanish he must of spoke a bit before! I'm more impressed though by his willingness to speak Spanish, go to club events, go to press conferences. Like he is not just a player going out on loan thinking about bigger things but actually embracing the whole culture around the club. Seems a very likable good professional. I hope he continues to impress, though I have no doubt he will go on to have a long and successful career.

Edit:

He does have spanish heritage, as well as US and Venezuelan. Wow interesting mix.

Sam could play for our first team. Not sure about the comparisons I've read of him on here but I don't really have a similar player in mind. He is very good, tricky but he is looking stronger which helps.
Personally, I don't get the Pritchard comparison. I think if I had to compare to current or past youth players, I would say a cross between Edwards and Azzaoui.

In terms of senior players he is reminiscent of Hazard. Not saying he’ll ever reach those heights but playing style seems similar.

I wasn't really intending to make the comparison based on style of play but asking how people felt they compared in terms of ability at the same age, that said I don't see them as being massively different. they're of a similar height and build, both right-footers generally playing off the left with both always looking to get on the ball to make something happen, neither are especially quick so will always look to combine play rather than trying to run their opponent. shashoua's more of a dribbler and a bit more selfless than pritchard but I don't think they're worlds apart in most areas of the game.

malbanque isn't actually a bad shout @Locotoro, i certainly think he's more steed than the likes of moura, hazard and mahrez.

Just my opinion on Roles but he’s not a player that really makes you sit up and take notice. Yes there’s end product as in goals but it’s just a little bit laboured. But I guess much was said the same of Kane. I just think it will be incredibly tough for him when you think he’s essentially competing with eriksen dele moura Son Lamela for a starting spot. You to look at someone like Townsend and say even if he got to that level. A very accomplished PL player and England international, he still wouldn’t get a look in with us. I think it’s where someone like Edwards has more of a chance imo just because he has that wow factor, even though I’d rate Edwards chance as slim.

How can you say Roles doesn’t make you sit up and take notice and have the wow factor , guaranteed if Edwards had scored a goal like this you would be demanding that he be in the first team .just my opinion though

Just seen our previous prospect Limbersky is lining up for Viktoria plzn against Real Madrid

In fact I just wasted the last 10 minutes counting 16 former Spurs either starting or on the bench for matches tonight

It was nice piece of play but there’s nothing particularly wow about it. He nicks the ball away runs in a straight line plays a one two and slots it in. Very nice goal but doesn’t change my opinion on him.

He made the defender think he was going on the outside before flicking it on the inside, rode the challenge and then ran straight at the 2 defenders and held onto the ball until the wide defender came in to cover the 1st defender and then passed the ball to his teammate and then sprinted into space. Not a wonder goal, but a goal that showed good decision making skills, intelligence and composure.
