interesting, then again i'm sure the club says the same thing to most players.

Take your pic from:
- you're very talented, work hard and keep progressing, and you've got everything you need to play in the first team
- if you think Daniel Levy's going to spend a penny you're mad. Trust me kid, we're going to need you to start in the next few months with the way things are going

Joking, obvs

Even from business model perspective it's a poor approach. They are not even selling those prospects for profit. It's plan and simple hoarding of talent.
But that will be put to an end with the changes to the loan system
Not really ...it won’t affect under 21 loans.

maghoma has improved a lot this season, is far more productive and doesn't fritter the ball away quite so much(though it's still an area he needs to improve on). my worry for him though is that he's the "mercurial" type player that we've yet to see come through under poch, he might like them once a lot of their flaws have been ironed out but whether he's willing to go through the growing pains to get there i don't know. he also has that onomah/tob languid style working against him.

Personally think maghoma has something about him reminds of a young yaya. If he went on to be a superstar I wouldn’t be surprised. There’s not to many I could say that about in the current youth set up. But he’s one of those you feel he could be an absolute superstar but could also be a total flop. The one thing he has over most of our CM talents is he seems to score goals and from anywhere.

glad maghoma sr doesn't read this thread, think he'd end up doing time if he saw @therhinospeaks' posts on christian

windy is completely right in what he said too, paris has 10 combined goals/assists so far this season which i'm pretty sure is already more than he got over the entirely of last year.

I think windy is correct Paris was/is erratic with his performances.
I agree from what I have seen , the fact he shoots from anywhere and normally misses does now sound like it’s his dads advice to do so , which is not always the right decision . Basically his dad has forced them to give him first team miniutes and training sessions , regardless whether Paris is ready or not , or they would not sign . His dad could end up ruining him .

I would be surprised if it was the case. Poch won't be pushed around and forced to give minutes to anyone he thinks is not ready.

If Poch is giving him training time, and assurances of a path forward, its because Poch sees a path forward. Nothing will be given, everything must be earned.

I also think seeing Skipp's progression this season must help some of the Academy players who might have been losing a little faith.

If they think someone has potential , they will bend the rules , especially after losing so many youth players recently . They don’t want too but think they are being forced too . He has potential but the fact his father encourages him to shoot at every opportunity when he is not a natural goal scorer , (as someone has stated on another site) , is not doing him any good . As many goals he may score , he misses another 20.

They look like will sell Solanke, Abrahams and Hudson-Odoi

"Assurances of first team football" I have realised is the most pointeless phrase. It means nothing. He isn't assured of anything. Probably along the lines of 'if you work hard yardy yah, and don't give the ball away, I may give you a chance'. So literally the same thing that would be said to any player
