Anyone know much about Nile John ? Saw he scored twice for England U16 in a 4-0 win. I think I saw him once and he was tiny but I might be wrong. Be 16 in March and in summer intakes apparently.

Just found this

Interestingly had a little chat with that deluded gooner on twitter seems to know his stuff. Said we have a lot of exciting talent coming through at U15 + U16.

Lyon and Spurs were the only group runners up to win in the UEFA Youth League playoffs - the other 6 ties were won by the team coming through the domestic champions' path. Makes our achievement look all the more impressive.

I don't know why you would think he's tiny he's a normal size for his age group. Lovely player tbh and will most likely be the star of next years group. I've said before he will likely have been offered his pro already but just not signed it, and will no doubt be attracting offers from other clubs. I'd say he's a forward or an AM. I'd struggle to label him as a winger as he's not the get down the wing type or necessarily run at a man and beat them as he's main role. More of a silky ball carrier, who can ghost past a man with good shot on him, and good finisher. Has scored quite a few for England. The England age group he's a part of have a load of options in attack including Dembele and the very highly rated Jude Bellingham and John always finds himself in there which is great stuff.

He's a regular for that England age group. Someone I follow and knows their stuff said this. I've seen him at the training ground he really gets about, and he's a Spurs fan I believe.

So we have schooled France again in football, we have an excellent attacking talent in our ranks as it stands, including our own. Let's see how ours develop compared to there's

Deluded Gooner knows his stuff, but it's something I've been crowing on about for a while now. The u15 age group even taking into account the loss of Forson still look really good, and the u16s are decent. Big intake next year, though I don't think there are a lot of stars in it so to speak

Coincindentally this video of our current u16s featuring an u14 as well popped up on my youtube home page. It's in slo mo so not very useful but quite cool.

John is the no.11. He's definitely not what I'd consider small, I don't know where that came from. I remember people used to have this impression that Skipp was also small too which he never has been.

Romaine Mundle the no.14 and Renaldo Torraj are small. Couple of players in the vid have since been released.

For your information if you pause at 13secs

Front row: Torraj, Turner (10), Mundle (14), Rachi (16, released)
Back row: Hackett(3), Siziba (I think, (9)released), Matthew Craig(4), Mathurin (7), Lusala(2), Michael Craig(12)

Nfleko (6, released comes into screen if you let it play)

When you watch the game you see Bryan-Waugh (5), Kyezu (15)

I think the idea of John being small comes from seeing him couple years ago playing up in age groups. Might not have even been him, but for some reason had the idea he was small. Bryan- waugh looks a bit of a tank looks like wanyama, is he expected in the incoming this summer?

Many thanks guys
for keeping us informed
on the youth coming through.
Not easy for most of us.
Excellent thread.
Never miss it.

Like most I am tracking those
that might make it with us.

How inspiring is the success
of the two Harrys
and Oliver for them.

Plenty of our own
in the Prem. as well

Thanks again.

Must be something
in the Academy water supply.
Oliver Skipp looks older than me
and I'm well past
the allotted span.
