I don't think you got the gist of my point, I wanted to contact the club and the stadium regarding the abysmal sound quality and couldn't due to the lack of signal. I think you were too quick to dismiss people as pathetic rather than take on board their points. My matchday experience is inferior to when we were at WHL, I don't think it's pathethic to want to raise that with the club at the time.

Seriously? Your biggest concern is that the speakers aren't very good and you don't have signal on your phone? Who the fuck cares?

Whoever suggested craven cottage was onto a winner. Shame it couldn't happen.

I'm not denying that, I suspect Poch would love to get players in early and so would Levy, but we live in realities and live in a world where players cost extortionate amounts who are incredibly overpriced so we need to be smart.

but you are still denying the impact on the start of the season as a nonsense fallacy, that's where we differ

It's rubbish though. As if teams weren't up for it at WHL or Old Trafford or any of the other big team grounds.
They play at those places every season. Its rubbish to think that playing at Wembley is just another day at the office for some of these players.
Not saying its a massive issue. Fact of matter is we've a far better team than most so should beat them. Just trying to find a reason why we've just battered 2 teams and come away with 1 pt.

it's got fuck all to do with the size of the pitch

Have you been to many of the games at Wembley?
We looked fucked midway through the 2nd half in the last 2 and collapsed around that time in the semi final.
Is that something we saw at the Lane?

I think it's something we can train for and I don't think it'll always be a problem. I do think teams will play roper dope and burn us out before coming out of their shells in the 70th minute when we're dragging our feet.

Then again, Aurrier and Rose back might negate all of these.

I think if we changed the pitch dimensions at Wembley to the same at old WHL it would make negligible difference, the place has no soul

The reason is we haven't been clinical at all. That's literally it. There's no stadium curse, no Wembley hoodoo, we're just not as sharp as we are in midseason.

This is it for me, there's nothing to it really but my god, what i'd have given for us to beat Chelsea and smash Burnley to put this fucking nonsense to bed.

Please Spurs, just scrape a few home wins and stop all the hoodoo bollocks. Pretty please.

I've heard a few players say that the pitch at Wembley is just tiring to play on because it's not firm enough or something. I suppose an exaggerated analogy would be like running in snow or on sand, it's just knackering. Obviously I'm not saying it's like sand, but even if it's just a little bit too spongy, when you're running 10-15km on it every second game, it starts to take it's toll I imagine.

I'm just passing on what I've heard players say so don't shoot the messenger. If it's true though, it does explain why we seem to fade towards the end of games there, especially given that we play a very tiring style of football in the first place.

We can't and it would be counter intuitive. Pitches are becoming standardized and ours will too. We need to get used to it.

I thought the larger pitch helped us against BD. It wore them out and created extra space for us on the counter.
