Talk of a curse is bollox but Wembley is a terrible stadium and makes it extremely difficult for us.

Acoustics are awful. I sit right above away fans and cannot understand a word they are saying, I also see fans behind the goal right underneath me with their arms in the air. I assume they are singing but I cannot hear them at all.

Huge swathes of the stadium with empty seats and lots of tourists make it very difficult to get atmosphere going and you never get two sections of the stadium singing at the same time.

The stands are a mile away from the pitch which must make it much easier for the opposition and everybody leaves at the 85th minute because it is such a nightmare to get back from Wembley meaning the place dies a death and is zapped of energy at a crucial time.

I was at the game today and I feel if that was at WHL we would've got three points. Atmosphere would've made Swansea more edgy and nervous and good chance they would've slipped up given the pressure we put on them for 90 minutes

Can't really blame anybody as I don't see what a realistic alternative was but this season is going to be very very tough slog there.

I've seen us fail to win umpteen times at the new stadium, but sadly there's no curse. I just think it's that the dimensions of the pitch make it easier for teams to negate our particular style of play. The fact that our only proper win was against a team that forced us to play a different style sort of confirms this...

No there's no hoodoo. Granted teams will raise their game but I reckon this only makes it 10% harder to win. Today we should have had two penalties and Kane hit the bar. We've hit the woodwork against Chelsea and Burnley....the players need to settle down and the manager needs to pick the right team. The first win will come

Well.. We need to sort that out before the end of the season, 'cause the dimensions will be the same at New WHL.

It was my first time at Wembley today and considering all the rubbish I've heard about it I was surprised to see a grass pitch and two goals.

Seriously, if our players can't play in that stadium there is something wrong.

Also the Swansea fans seemed to create a good atmosphere.

We just played poorly today and the stadium isn't to blame.

IMO, as a foreign fan watching from TV, the stadium is just too big for matches other than big games or finals. Not filling up the seats just made the whole place so empty with pockets of space everywhere. Is really hard for the team to feel at home at all. Really seems like a neutral ground for both sides, but psychologically-boosting for away teams knowing the home side has not much significant advantages.

Packing the seats right at MK would have been so much better IMO, sighz...

Obviously talks of a hoodoo is ridiculous because such things do not exist. But...

Losing to Chelsea in extra time, conceding an equaliser to Burnley in extra time and having a blatant penalty turned down in extra time won't help the players' mindsets.

Things like that could easily create a mind block that the players will struggle to get over.

The new myth is that Dean won't ever give Spurs a penalty at Wembley in an EPL game

Obviously hoodoo's just can't exist so there can't be one for us at Wembley. The stadium is an issue though, but one we will just have to deal with this season.

I think our freak home form last season has skewed the stats too. Some people are talking as if last season was the norm at The Lane when it really wasn't.

But the club listened to a sizeable fanbase who wanted Wembley and ultimately anything but MK.

This Wembley voodoo is all in the bloody mind! We need to adapt to the opposition end of. An example was Borussia.and the different way we adapted the game. Expect at least another 10 teams coming to Wembley and park the bus. So Poch has to adapt a different approach to this.

I really though pochs strict fitness regime would make a big difference for us a t wembley and we would wear teams down. Mike dean fucked us over yesterday but we still need to raise our performance.

I think I was being a tad optimistic when I said we'd get 7-8 league wins at Wembley this year. I'd take 5 now if you offered it. We can't even beat Swansea or Burnley so I don't hold much hope for anyone in the top half.
