Only question I have, what changed in our transfer policy/attainable targets from when Poch and his staff identified them and signed their respective contract extensions? Though, in reality, that's likely none of our business. Or, is it?

They knew he was on ‘The debate’ tonight. I don’t even watch that crap. But got a text from a mutual friend, who is very close to Tim, basically ROTFL, with what Tim was told. And some of us know who from?

Fucking hell, this is ridiculous...

Wouldn’t it have been less hassle for Levy to just back Poch with some transfers!!??

I am not a hypocrite, or lick arse. I call it truly way I see it. I know the privilege I have to have the connections I have, I yell what I hear, and am the most optimistic, and still held out that we would do at the very worst one deal. And I know who that player was. Lol, he refused. We try again, the DL way, and it fails. Also know that the club have made certain pundits not to rock the boat. Tim take a bow

Think close and outside observers are all a little confused at the moment

What I don’t understand is...we didn’t need much...2 players of quality or v high potential to support a strong but not perfect squad...so why is there no process of fully agreeing a short list...targets of very high confidence that they will meet our needs...and then be financially aggressive in securing these two targets. Not expecting scattergun...expcecting intelligent, targeted proactive interventions into the market.

Let’s turn this on its head, it’s not hard to top up a great squad, it’s far easier than overhauling a deficient team

Says to me that internally people aren’t trusting each other

We are an absolute fucking joke. And the journalists like ben pearce, dan kp, and ally gold need to hold the club to task after this. No one should be toeing the club line. We royally fucked up and Levy may have very well ruined our best chance to keep what we have together. We need a takeover. Enic is taking us no further and we just took 3 steps back now. Fucking disgraceful. No one wants to hear it but levy just fucking ruined it. Hope you bsodls are happy. Sell the club, enic.

Its hard when your chairman is fucking allergic to backing a manager.

People don’t want to hear that! I know the club well enough to know how it spins BULLSHIT! Some of us know the truth, and they can’t shut us up! And they can’t sue us neither.

I didn't like hearing it, but for something as important as Levy upsetting Poch, I would rather have heard it than not.

Now all those that rated this disagree, wtf, d'oh and spam will know why I said this. I knew if we didn't sign a marquee player/anyone it could have a domino effect - ITK has alluded to tension between Levy and Poch. Poch will probably be more open to leaving next summer. Btw, we are fucked if Eriksen hasn't signed the deal yet. Other key players will want to leave if Poch leaves = destroying the club for years.

Hmm, it doesn’t seem that the ‘we decided not to buy as we have a strong team’ line, is actually true. It sounds like there is a lot more to it than that. So disappointing.

That’s the one. Seriously, I love signings, and I am as perplexed as anyone how we are the first team since 2003 not to sign a player in the transfer window, but come on.. I was hoping for us to make a move for Jack Grealish. Jack Grealish!!

We didn’t make a signing, because there were none to be had. None that would have improved us anyways.

You think there’s no improvement to be had from an injury prone Wanyama or Dembele, or an improvement on Sissoko, with an injury prone Winks, it’s quite clear we needed a CM, we move the ball in transition too slowly.

The media are going to have a field day over this!

Levy is going to have to be very careful how he handles these questions asked by the Supporters Trust, if he tries in anyway to deflect any blame to Poch I imagine it won’t end well.
