Muguruza playing some unbelievable tennis right now. Deep penetrating ground strokes with consistency, hitting winners with unerring frequency, solid serve.

Looks like it's hers and she has deserved it, has looked like a player on top form since round 1

Don't care whether it's Federer or the giant Croat, as long as it's 6-0, 6-0, 6-0 and we find out who the 13th Doctor will be before teatime.

If Dr Who was in as much trouble as Cilic is right now, even he (or, rather, she) wouldn't escape.

Crap to see for a final to be honest. Was afraid of this when Djoko, Nadal and Murray all went out. All I wanted to see was a contest.

Don't agree this is terrible. As a sports fan, it's an absolute privilege to watch Federer, even if his opponent is emotionally shot.

Well played Rog. Not sure how many times we'll see him on a clay court again!

No doubt Federer is the best Tennis player of all time, but surely he has to be a contender for best sportsman of all time as well.

Not for me. I will say it does shine light on what was a disappointing final, with it being Federer but I just wanted to see a contest. I guess it varies between people actually, because I'm not a massive Federer fan like most but if this was Murray winning easily in straight sets I probably wouldn't feel the same disappointment in the quality of match so with that in mind I probably see your case a bit better.

Wins his second grand slam this year, without even dropping a set, and the man will be 36 in less than a month. He is special alright

So who's your money on for the US Open?

I've sneaked a tenner on Cilic and Kyrgios.

Odds not good enough for Roger or Rafa, can't see Dimitrov or Thiem lasting the distance, and don't want to jinx Zverev (who won't win it anyway; too soon.) Sneaky feeling that Kevin Anderson will make the semi.

Women - no idea!

I'll go for Del Potro, I'm not confident enough to put money on it on though.

Love to see it, but I don't think he'll ever win anything big again. He can't hit a backhand any more, poor bloke. Wouldn't mind being proved wrong though!
