Correct me if I'm wrong and I know he broke down in tears in the second set but I'm pretty sure he finished the match.

I agree though, didn't look like he wanted to be there. I just think the way it was done from him didn't make it look great.

You're absolutely right; he did.

My brain had a memory of him sitting there crying and it decided he must have retired. Stupid brain.

Wozniacki can sit on my face anytime shes tired

You should see some of her bikini shoot pictures if you haven't already, incredible body!

That was an epic game. Good to see the women's game being entertaining again.

Definitely so, great game. Was the first full women's match I'd watched of this tournament and it had me thinking I should have been watching more of the women's than the mens. Was great to watch after two poor mens semi-finals. Not sure I'm greatly enjoying the mens side at the moment. There are obviously a few exceptions but when there's Federer and Nadal they just seem to blitz through and if one of them loses the other one then just looks like the clear winner. Hopefully I'm wrong this time around and Cilic puts up a good fight.

This final is painful. Cilic has the look of somebody who’s expecting to lose. There’s just no belief in his eyes.

I’m longing for the days of Djokovic, Murray & Wawrinka, at least they used to put up a fight against Fed & Nadal. Fed is barely breaking a sweat out there at the moment

Yep, looks similar to how he did at Wimbledon. Is exactly what I was afraid of in this final. He's doing a bit better in this second set but he still has fear in his eyes and worry in his face. I've been working 12 hours so have to go to bed now and will see what the score was when I wake up.
The thing with the mens side is that currently, Federer just looks another level above everyone else. It really is incredible that at this stage in his career he's still head and shoulders above. Can't emphasise enough how amazing that is.

Or a sad view of how the next generation haven’t stepped up / simply aren’t good enough.

Cilic was so tight at the start. But even with Rog a break up in the third, I'm not calling it yet. Fed the favourite for sure, but it's not over yet.

Massive game by Cilic to go 5-3 up in the 4th that’s far more like it.

It's a game now, that's for sure! Didn't see this coming at the end of the first set.

Cilic looked like someone who didn't believe that he would win. Even when he looked as though he might be turning the tables, he just seemed to tighten up and the errors started to creep in.

Wasn't expecting an epic final like last year but today was decent.

Not well played Jamie and Dom. Should have been better than a straight sets defeat.

Isner beat Zverev to win Miami and his first Masters 1000 tournament, iirc.

Impressive tournament from both.

Good to see Sascha coming back into form after a (comparatively) shit few months. I'll be interested to see what he does in the clay court season.

And nice to see Isner win 1000. Especially as I had money on him!

Didn't he do well in a tournament on clay prior to the French, only to go out in the first round?

Congrats on the win!
