Yeah he did, really kept his composure as I think he's known to get a bit tight in certain situations too.

Who does he play next? Djokovic? I think he's gotten past the player who I would most expected him to lose to.

Raonic or Isner.

A match of grace and deft touches no doubt! :D

Oh wow, yeah :D

Not sure if that's a good fit for him to be honest, could easily lose out on 2 tie breaks and a tight set or something. Maybe with someone else you'd think just hold your serve with your own big serve and try to get into their service games but that's a harder job against Raonic or Isner.

With these guys, when they come up against each other it must kind of feel like they're playing themselves in a way. They all have big serves as their greatest weapons, but also all hit pretty massive forehands.

What is it with this Isner and his long ass matches. They need to do something about matches being over 5 hrs long.

The set scores tell you all you need to know. Mammoth servers who don't get broken against but who can rarely break for themselves.

They really need to start 5th set tiebreaks. This is insane - whoever wins is going to stand no chance in the final.

Unless Rafa and Novak play a 6 hour match tomorrow cos they can't get it in today!

Imagine how happy the crowd would have been this morning, thinking they were going to get to see Djokovic-Nadal. 6 hours later they are still stuck watching these guys smash aces...

Even though Nadal and Djokovic will want to get out and won't be looking too far ahead themselves, I'm sure at the back of their minds they're thinking this is only good for them if they make it through.

It is now akin to watching two people slowly punching each other in the nuts...

Yeah very much so. I wanted Isner to win but now I'm just thinking Anderson best not fucking drop his serve now that he's broken.

It's a good reminder of how lucky we've been to have an era of federer, nadal, djokovic etc

Serve and volley tennis sucks.

Au contraire! There's no better feeling than following a serve in and hitting a high backhand volley away for a winner.

Well, except Spurs winning.

And sex.

And maybe a cold beer by a pool in Florida.

And probably some other things, too, but my point is it's pretty damn good. :D
