He is not worth more than 25m max. I would rather we go for Ryan Sessegnon at Fulham. Yes he will cost more but he is a far better player.

We won't get Sessegnon now that Fulham have been promoted unless we pay an astronomical fee. Grealish is far more attainable and he's also a very good player who is young, fills a hole in our squad and 'home grown'.

What is Grealish's best position and where could he slot in for Spurs? They say he's a playmaker, but he ain't shifting Christian from the playmaker role, and I'm very happy with what i've seen of Harry Winks, when he is fit and firing, so get Jack in for sure, but he got some folks already in front of him at the club. Moura has looked good coming on front the bench, so competition for playing spots in our team will be tight for Jack if he comes.

One of our most glaring problems has been how dull we become if Eriksen is out or off form. Without his creative spark we can become very stodgy and we could definitely use some back up. We do have Lamela back now which addresses the problem to a degree, but Grealish has the ability to play a bit deeper as well. He'd compete with Eriksen, Lamela and probably Winks (who we still don't know how his rehab is going).

And? We need better players, regardless if they play a different position to the ones we’ve been linked with!

the thing is we have enough cover for the position Sessegnon plays, with Grealish we don't have the CM/AM cover for Eriksen. yes we have Lamela, but he is so 1 footed that when he has played in the centre it slows us down if he doesn't have the ball exactly where he needs it at the time of making that crucial pass
