Watching the Germany v Holland game. Poor match really, Holland look toothless.

It really has the atmosphere of a friendly this game.

That’s probably because to every other nation it is. If England had lost yesterday then everyone would be saying it’s a pointless competition yet because they won people are acting like it’s a World Cup or something.

Michael Obafemi becomes the first player born in the 21st century to play for Ireland - in the process formally locking himself in to representing them rather than England or Nigeria.

Sørloth is genuinely the most out of form striker in the history of football. The worst open goal miss I've seen since I don't even know how long.

Means nothing to the Dutch obviously!

Good autumn for the Nordic countries, apart from Iceland. Denmark, Norway and Finland all promoted and Sweden win promotion too if they beat Russia at home tomorrow.

Heia!

I take it even over there nobody gives a damn about the Faroe Islands? :ROFLMAO: They've been pretty horrific too.

Every other nation?

Did you see the Spanish reaction when we won?
Did you see the Croatian reaction when we won?
Did you see the Swiss after their comeback?

I think you hugely underrate how the other nations view the competition.

Tomorrow's games, the final ones of the group stage and all 19.45 kickoffs:

Portugal vs Poland (A3)

Meaningless to Portugal. For Poland, a point would mean being in Pot 1 for the Euro 2020 qualifiers, with Germany dumped into Pot 2 as the obvious team to avoid.

Sweden vs Russia (B2)

A Sweden victory would see them win the group ahead of the Russians - meaning promotion to League A and a guarenteed Euro 2020 playoff spot. Otherwise Russia will claim the group instead.

Scotland vs Israel (C1)

Victory for Scotland sees them win the group as well as secure a place in Pot 3 - otherwise, Israel will do so instead. A draw doesn't see Scotland win the group but is enough for them to get a place in Pot 3 as well. If Scotland lose to come 2nd, they'll be in Pot 3 if a) Romania fail to beat Montenegro, or b) if Romania beat Montenegro while securing a five-goal swing or less compared to Scotland (except a 5-goal swing exactly while also scoring at least 5) and Serbia beat Lithuania. If Israel lose to come 2nd, they'll be in Pot 3 if they a) maintain a better record than Hungary by only losing by one goal as well as making sure they don't get eight or more disciplinary points (1 for a yellow, 3 for red including double yellow, 4 for yellow followed by a direct red) if they lose 1-0 exactly, AND b) Romania fail to beat Montenegro, or Romania beat Montenegro by a one-goal margin while not scoring more goals than Israel do and while Serbia beat Lithuania.

Montenegro vs Romania (C4)

Romania will win the group if they win and Serbia fail to beat pointless Lithuania, else Serbia will. Montenegro will be relegated if they lose 2-0, 3-1 or by any 3+ goal margin - otherwise Cyprus will go down from C3 instead. Montenegro will be in Pot 4 regardless of what happens. Romania however can secure a place in Pot 3 if they win the group, or if they come 2nd by winning their game while Serbia also beat Lithuania, as well as a) winning by a scoreline of anything other than 1-0 to secure a better record than Hungary, b) Scotland vs Israel not ending in a draw, c) if Israel lose that Romania secure a goal difference swing against them of at least 3, or score at least 2 more goals than they do, and d) if Scotland lose that Romania secure a goal difference swing against them of at least 6, or of 5 exactly while scoring at least 5.

Serbia vs Lithuania (C4)

Serbia will win the group with a victory, or if Romania fail to beat Montenegro. Lithuania have almost nothing left to play for - they will very slightly improve their extremely slim playoff hopes if they secure a better record than Slovenia by winning by at least seven goals.

Kosovo vs Azerbaijan (D3)

Kosovo win the group with a draw - Azerbaijan can top it by beating them.

Malta vs Faroe Islands (D3)

Malta will secure 3rd in the group, and with it a place in Pot 5, if they get a victory here - otherwise this truly fantastic prize goes to the Faroe Islands instead.

I'd just like to say that Greece are a bunch of amateurs and talentless pricks, it was like watching a Sunday morning pub team full of bad tempered frustrated hungover Wannabees.

That's all.
