Overeem has been really impressive lately. Those knees are dangerous. He'll be fighting for the belt again soon, IMO

Calvillo! Great choke!

Mighty Mouse needs to get back on a PPV! Love him.

Good fight. Kelly deserved that win on being more active the first 2 rounds and tagging him a few times. Took the body kicks like a champ too. Fairly quick PPV thus far with just 2 fights left.

Good, very active fight. Vanatta wonbthe first closely but Teymur definitely won the 2nd and 3rd by alot IMO. Fantastic fight.

Do these 2 want to fight or? Disgraceful first 2 rounds and people paid hundreds if not thousands to see this. Awful. No action at all.

Better 3rd round with at least some action but this is such a huge let down. The fans who paid all this money to get in should get at least some of their money back. Watching paint dry is as entertaining as this fight so far. Utterly embarrasing.

Tyrone will lose the fight if it carries on this way and he'll kick himself afterwards for not taking more chances.

4 rounds of crap. Right now? Im thinking of another draw with Woodley stripped of title. Thompson doesnt win it either. This is shit. These 2 fucks should be embarrased.

Nope.

He should be stripped of the title though after that crap. Awful. Fans are right to reign down the boos
He got lucky I reckon, I wouldn't go as far as stripping the title after all it takes two to make a fight and both were really cautious.
I could see them fighting again.

Poor PPV overall. The co main event was really good and the Overeem v Hunt fight was good. The main event was really poor this time, both were way too afraid to open up on each other. Funny thing is I had it a draw but I don't think all judges were ever going to class it a draw again. I had Thompson round 1, 2 and 4 and Woodley in rounds 3 and 5 (being a 10-8). However the 2 rounds that Woodley won were more affective than the ones Thompson won. The wins from Thompson were more like watching point fighting with him outscoring Woodley. I think the way the fight ended pushed the fight towards Woodley.

Sucks that it was cancelled but i still but the bullet and spent the 60 bucks. Woodley/Thompson 2 will be worth it. 1 was one of the fights of the year, if not the fight of the year, last year. If this is even half as good its worth it tbh

On the plus side, McGregor/Diaz 3 now should come up before a unification or title bout. And that fight right there is the money fight. This should be done 213 or 215. 213 is apparentky during a 3 event fight week in Vegas and that could bring more views for the other fights if the week was billed correctly. 215 could be another option because that would bring 2 huge money PPV's in a row as in all likelihood, GSP/Bisping will be at 216, which is apparently in Canada. I guess they could do it at 217 also.
I think this will happen during international fight week in Las Vegas which is 213 in July

My wife's boss' husbands company box at the O2 has come up trumps again and I will be going to watch the UFC

I had started to regret not buying a ticket because I think there's enough on the card that it will likely be a good event despite no real star names or super important fights

Manuwa is explosive and if he can avoid the take down we could be in for a highlight reel finish. Plus if he wins he's likely to be talked about in the title picture (perhaps a fight with the returning Jon Jones as an eliminator for the title shot)

Gunnar Nelson is always a good watch, I think he's going to get turned over though

Also Picket is never in a dull fight so I'm sure he will give value for money with his all action style (especially since I'm not paying)

The Aldo vs Holloway is an exciting fight for sure

But it should have been for the vacant title in my opinion, I know it doesn't really matter in the grand scheme of things but I never agreed with Aldo being given the belt and an interim being created for Holloway and Pettis to contest

Just pointless to me, only serves to allow title fight promotions. I don't think there should ever be an interim title unless the Champ is out injured and unable to fight for a period of time

But anyway great fight to look forward to, a little surprised it's been deemed high profile enough to be a pay per view headliner though. It gets spread thin now though with the amount of ppv events on per year and it's a fight that deserves to be a ppv even if I am not sure it's high profile enough outside the core mma fan world

Beautiful finishes on 3/4 main card fights tonight and a great fight between Allen/Amirkhani to open it up. Fun card.

Anyone seen Diakiese finish?

Shame for Picket to go out in that fashion

Great work by Gunnar and Manuwa

Was a very entertaining card and a great night of fights
