I think Cruz has the fight IQ to beat TJ. He also isnt emotional like Cody. Sometimes an opponent can just have the opponent's number.
TJ has Cody's number, I think Cody has Cruz's number even though they fought once and maybe Cruz has TJ's number.

This this and this. TJ is just about the best current fighter in all of MMA. Very technical, game as hell, brilliant all round skill set and goes for the finish every time. Wonderboy level striking but loves to bang. Makes adjustments every fight, great training and fight IQ.

Gardbrandt had no business being back in there with him in an immediate re-match and can’t seem to fight without emotion against TJ which makes the disparity even more. Can’t see him fighting TJ ever again and if he wants to progress he may have to leave the frat party bro down that is TAM and go somewhere else. Problem is that he’s painted himself into a box with all the loyalty malarkey.

Dillashaw v Moroes next please

Glad Cejudo got the title and shook things up

Agree 100% and what an absolute gentleman Mighty Mouse was in his post fight chat with Rogan.

And what the fuck was Cejudo on when he called out the winner of the Dillashaw V Garbrand fight? If he plans on going up a weight, he'd better be careful what he wishes for.

My friend, if the WADA can invite the Russian ADA back into the fold after only three years out, despite proof that the doping of athletes was sponsored by the state...anything can happen these days. DC would kill Lesnar so I can't see that happening, not for a long long while yet. Anyway, what exactly has he done to deserve a crack at him. Also, why should DC retire? No reason to do that. I would think a rematch with Miocic woud be on the cards first. He was nowhere near his best in the first fight and I couldn't believe how easy he was to hit. Never seen him fight like that before. Something was clearly wrong with him.

And it won't be long before Jones is kicked out again. Leopards and spots.

The fight with Lesnar is going to happen next year, that's the fight DC wants, it's a big pay day.
DC has said he will retire March 2019, he said that he promised his family.

Cool. I didn't know that, so fair enough. It would be a complete joke however if for some weird reason Lesnar was to beat him and become the HW Champion again. It would make the entire thing a farce, which this great sport would not deserve.

Ah the only way Lesnar is going to win is with a lucky punch, have you seen his body without steroids? It's totally different.

Jones and Lesnar should have an 'on steroids' match ... bare knuckle ... no referee ... to the death :playful:.

Jones would kill him. Steroids or no steroids, Lesnar hates being punched in the face. For UFC fighters like Jones, being punched in the face is an occupational hazard and they accept it.

I just saw Khabib vs Connor conference, Connor was shook, Khabib was relaxed. I hope Khabib beats the shit out of him, I've had enough of Connors nonsense.

Yep 100%. Sadly, over and above what he comes across like...he's one hell of a fighter, and he can back himself up. I wouldn't like to call this one.

Conor has come out and said he'd fallen out of love with the UFC but when the match was made for this weekend, it re-juvenated his passion (probably because it meant another mega-million payout).

I still have no idea which way this one is going to fall. One thing's or sure, neither fighter has ever fought anyone like their opponent before. Tough tough call...

But it's all for show.
If you watch the Notorious documentary he actually comes across as a decent(ish) bloke.
When it comes to the build up to a fight, he becomes a character because that's what's required in order to sell the fight.

He's known for doing excitable interviews, he's very pissed off in this one. I can understand why with Dana in charge.
