Did any one see mvp fight on bellator last night? I've never seen some one just quit like that.

Urgh.

Till missed weight. Terribly disappointing
Hope Wonderboy spanks him now to be honest ( had Wonderboy winning this fight anyway, too early for Till ).

The missing weight thing is really getting out of control now and is seeming more and more deliberate with each time it happens. Soon we might have both missing weight, if one fighter suspects the other one of not even trying why should they ?

I think some harsher punishment needs to be put in place, I think it's become a new kind of cheating, a more acceptable kind of cheating for people who don't want to go the drugs route. This is the second time he's missed weight in four fights, this was a big fight that would have put him in the title picture.Win or lose he can forget that now. If I was Thompson I wouldn't even take the fight.

Reading more about the situation. Till's pregnant girlfriend has had a load of complications in the last week and has been in and out of hospital. That is a legitimate reason imo.

They should just cancel the fight at this point. Making him fight dehydrated is just a recipe for disaster. Reschedule it for some other time.

Can't say I liked that fight at all to be honest. Too friendly and felt like a sparring match and not a fight where one really wants to knock the other out.

He may be a great technician but I find most of Wonderboy's fights boring. When he's up against somebody he outclasses he produces spectacular KOs but he looked like he was trying to play tag rather than win an MMA match against Till.

I also didn't get why everyone in the post-fight talk thought Wonderboy won. Octagon control still counts in close rounds and that was all on Till's side. Also despite everyone saying that Wonderboy landed more strikes the official figures gave Till a 38-30 advantage in significant strikes.

No comments on Allen's choke??
That came completely out of nowhere in a fight he was losing by a country mile.

Also... Bisping has retired.

It was a great turnaround but despite losing I thought Mads Burnell enhanced his reputation far more. Allen has a lot to learn.

I think Bisping knew he was going to retire after the GSP fight, he just enjoyed trolling Rockhold and stringing people along.

Romero has missed weight, I'm pretty sure Whittaker said he wouldn't fight him if he doesn't make weight.

FFS, getting really ridiculous now. I'm not sure what the repercussions are for missing weight, but I think they need to be increased as it seems to be happening every event. Luckily the rest of the card looks really good anyway, even if that fight doesn't occur.

Would love to see Punk win but I wouldn't be surprised to see him looking really amateur in the octagon again, hopefully not and hopefully it won't be a fight where if he's on his back it's round/fight over. I just like the guys character to be honest, seems really down to earth.

This is the best chance he will ever have, Jackson has a another job and not just a fighter, his main job is a photographer for MMA events i believe.
I think will be close tbh but i think Jackson will win. I am looking forward to the Overeem vs Blaydes and the RDA vs Colby fights, i think they will be the best fights tonight. I think the Romero will win as every other fighter this year who hasnt made weight has as well.

The only way I could see a way around the weight cutting thing is if they completely changed the way the whole thing works. Like they signed a fighter at a specific weight class and didn't allow them to fight below that.

I don't know of Jackson to be honest but I'm glad to hear Punk has a good chance against such a fighter. Will be very interesting to see how much Punk has improved, I think I'll be surprised if it goes past round 1. Yeah I'm looking forward to those as well, especially RDA vs Colby, I really want to see Covington get beat bad.
