I haven't been following this too closely and I generally skim through the posts that mention "cabbages" but just picking up on something JJ mentioned. Could Mane at Saints be a target? I haven't seen him linked much but I could be wrong.

Schneiderlin was never on this window due to silly price and once Utd flashed their tits
Just 1 cabbage possible now.....the better one

If the player not happening is because of Toby and is apparently kinda crap I'm going with Jonny Evans.
So if the other is linked to him, maybe Januzaj or if you look at the players who share Evans' agency, as well as numerous Spurs players, there's a fair few who've been linked to us, oh and plus Aubameyang.

Edit: Evans has same agent as Insigne, who in literal sense could be little cabbage due to height. Can't see us getting him though, be great signing.

Only one cabbage deal seems to be happening now, leading to assumption that the other was a CB, and no longer needed after Toby.

Although we seem to be in for McCarthy in a non-cabbage related transfer.
