Guys, can we save the stuff about how long it takes us to sign players/our failures in the transfer window until the day after the window shuts? Its getting pretty boring now as its an argument that's going around and around in circles.

Put your frustrations away for a couple of weeks and just try to enjoy the ride. After the window closes we traditionally open this thread up to a transfer window 'post mortem' at which point it would all be better discussed from a position of knowing what's transpired.

Usually, once the window closes a number of people are seething with rage at Levy, who will then pull a masterstroke by making some sort of stadium related announcement at which point he'll go back to being a hero who can do no wrong. Or as the BSoDL like to call him, 'daddy'…….:D

Anyway, can we? Yeah?

Lets leave it for just a couple of weeks…..'kay?
I wish I could double rate this 'optimistic'

I honestly think that's all i got is just 1 more window after this one.

Ok fine. Here are the deal terms for a 5 year deal with 2 year option
Basic
100 a week
Signing on fee of 5%
Bumps:
An extra 10 on every piece of ITK
Extra 50 if said piece of ITK contributes to CL qualification

Loyalty bonus:
10% of future agreement

Buy out clause:
Any forum wishing to sign you must pay 500million at which point you can have permission to discuss any contractual matters.

I trust you'll find my terms fair

Blimey that Jasper post was tough.
Its true about this site and its protection for Us though as I'm frequently blocking people on Twitter and still not sure why I'm on there other than i can actually talk to people which becomes too hard on here.
I did get a bid from a Spanish site of 85M to talk ITK over there but preferred to stay loyal to my beloved Spurs instead...

How about heading over to the SC Chat forum sometimes? It's much more peaceful over there.

Jasper, the poor guy. Why people want to berate an ITK I have no idea. It's just a bit of fun to get us through the window and if it comes off it is awesome!

I find it weird that people would spend time picking it apart and berating him. What utter bellends

Well if you are going to hang up your itk boots, stay around here as a normal poster again.
It's a nice place for Spurs fans ans as @nailsy said, chat is a nice place to get away to. There, you can just talk about random stuff but with fellow Spurs fans, which can be a nice escape.
In fact, as soon as this window is over, I'm gonna get my arse back over there as I've been away from there for too long. The transfer window brought me back to SC after a difficult couple of years, and the posters have made me want to stay again. I've missed this place, it's the tonic that I didn't realise I needed!

We have by all accounts signed njie. And are still looking to bring one more most probably berahino in aswell.
So what are you having a hissy about? Maybe having a striker on the bench yesterday might have made a difference maybe not. Maybe if kane had got a third or our defence didn't make mistakes we would have won maybe not.
You moaning about it certainly wont change the reslut. Berahino will come or he wont, we will get a striker or we wont. Nothing you or i do will make the slightest bit of difference. If you want to have a moan about our transfer policy go ahead there are numerous threads in spurs chat. If you can't find one start one. I will even come over and debate with you. But leave this thread for itk.
I sidetrack this thread myself sometimes. But that is more forgetting which thread it is (or i'm pissed).

I don't believe you actually wrote that. Did it make sense when it was i your head?

As someone suggested re Jasper, perhaps you could stretch your stay by posting your itk via the goat.
A&C and the gang will quickly take away privileges if there is abise then.

Sometimes do wonder if itk is actually a good thing because if you hear about things early and it drags or changes then you just get whinging posters.

Gone unfortunately are the days when you hear about signings after the event. Still remember shock had upon hearing we had bought Peters from Hammers, making him most expensive signing at time. Sure there must have been whispers then but with no social media .....

Okay, last two weeks of the window have arrived, on the pitch we've been rather lacklustre and unlucky too.
Time for Levy and the club to step up, league is looking wide open so let's stump up and try and take advantage.
If our targets are available , I'd like to see the club get the deals done.
Levy said a few weeks ago that we might be busy at the end of the window, maybe that's because he knew the clubs where our targets are had lots of work to do before they would sell?

Why did we get rid of Soldado before buying in strikers? Soldado was useful as a chocolate fireguard but teams now know we just have Kane and are an injury away from having Chadli as our sole striker so are going to charge massive premiums as they know we are desperate for striker(s)

Every chairman is now going to think christmas has come early when their secretary says "Mr Levy is on the phone"

We should have kept Soldado till the last day

I agree with you in principle, however if we kept Soldado until the last day, there is a risk that the club that wanted him will move onto other targets. Then we would be stuck with him for another year.

We should avoid doing any of our main transfer business on the last day as clubs can change their mind for example if they can't buy replacements.

The only business we should do on the last imo if it is a bonus player. So I am hoping are DM and striker signing signings are done soon and not left until the last day.
