Pleased that a long overdue clear out of deadwood looks to have been efficiently undertaken.

Maybe it's the eternal pessimist of following Spurs for 30+ years in me but I'm not confident the Germans identified will make the move.

If that's the case I'd far rather see the kids take up the places so often occupied by the stocking fillers. It would help generate a better atmosphere, support and positivity and patience throughout the club.
Agree with this. Great post. But implementing a list rebuild means planning to finish around top 10 and not firing a manager because of it. This is where my faith deserts me.

As things stand there are currently a handful of deals that could be completed within a few hours(ins and outs). All of which would see us better off imo.
Worth staying up late for.

Not saying they are imminent, just that they are far enough down the line that they could possibly be tied up very quickly if the final details fall into place.
If this is the case, why is it we don't just get them done?

Really need to get the striker done asap IMO. At least in midfield we have some decent backups to call for. In fwd department, its just Kane. That's a huge risk going into next week.
