The ITK we've had tonight is no more than the guardian story told us last night. Spurs are interested in Mata, no deal done. So are arsenal.


If it's a straight choice for the boy, he goes to Arsenal. Our only hope is that Wenger holds on to Fabregas and Nasri, and doesn't feel inclined to spend circa 20m+.

Bolton Wanderers winger Chung-yong Lee faces at least nine months on the sidelines after breaking his leg against Newport County.
The South Korea international was stretchered off during the first half of Bolton's 3-1 friendly victory over Newport on Saturday.

I guess it could mean that, but the common use of "a storm coming", is of something bad

or common sense would say, it is the more unlikely references.

i cant believe we are any way close to signing mata, i think the whole daniel is dealing with it might be a smokescreen, mata would be a luxury, but not a essential position we need sorted. Strikers are the position we need to sort out not, getting in a up grade for lennon.

I'd say that not having much pace on the bench cost us big time last year. I doubt signing Mata will impact our budget for a striker (or two).

If going after Mata raises the price for Arse then it's worth it. If we sign him, even better. But I'm hoping we get Diarra + a striker from Madrid. We need at least one new striker to move forward. Maybe some of these new youth strikers can do a job for us this season?

I think this next few weeks will go like this, weekend everyone excited, Monday Tuesday frustration builds due to inactivity, Wednesday mass suicide as VDV and Thudd set to be out for 3 months, Thursday ITK comes out that talks have stalled with Mata and vucinic signs for juve, Friday is like normal with 50 pages of nothing and then finally Saturday comes and everyone goes mental because llorente starts on the bench which much mean he signs for us. Then the following week just as everyone has had enough we make 2 top signings and everyone is happy.......until we draw 1-1 with everton!! Let's see if I'm ITK!!!
