That report means nothing though...there are no recent quotes from Mata, his father or anybody...all its saying is that he is happy at Valencia. I mean he's hardly going to say otherwise...its typical speech for somebody who is covering their ass and showing a bit of leg at the same time.

Nothing new there whatsoever. It will be up to Levy to convince him to come here.

Yes as i posted in the VDV thread in chat we are in trouble in midfield with Hudd, Palacios (knee) and Sandro injured. Re-inforcements being looked at sharpish, that's why i expect Parker or Diarra sooner rather than later.

If Luca stays that is...

I would be 99% sure that Diarra will be a Spurs player by the start of the season with this injury news.

You lot have seriously lost it! i know it's Saturday and Stella has been promising you excitement and that' but really do you really believe that Levy; in a season that will make or break our fortunes; will not pull out a big signing? sit back and have a think guys, whether its money, status, acclaim, it can't not happen...it's madness to say we're not signing anyone of note! if we end up signing no one apart from Zamora, this years Sc male comp is going full frontal! Promise!:eek:mg:

:stupid:

I formulated myself poorly, I mean I am surprised that we are in for Mata. Very surprised, actually.

Doctor...Doctor Jekyll, is that you?

^^^ This.
Exxentially, all that article says is that the author thinks that maybe Mata might not be interested becuase Spurs don't have CL football, and have a rigid wage structure. There is not even one quote from the player or anyone speaking on his behalf saying he prefers the Goons to us. I hopehe isn't a paid jornalist - I could do better eating a magic-mushroom flan and sticking a crayon up my ass:roll::roll::roll:
