I'd be surprised if Ade is able to manage more than 30 minutes v the Barcodes. The importance of match fitness shouldn't be underestimated. Even if Ade has been keeping himself fit over the summer, the lack of match sharpness would manifest itself quite visibly if he is thrown into action immediately.

I think most of the Leandro ITK is that we've more or less agreed on what the personal terms will be, but haven't agreed a fee with Internacional. So it's possible that we are not talking to any other strikers, but are still intending to come back for Leandro. Can easily see it dragging on to deadline day though...

If Adebayor has a long term injury then our season will be a disaster.

Isn't that what real madrid have done with modric? If so then:

1. why is it being done before a fee is agreed? Isn't that the whole tapping up thingamagig?

& 2. If LD is as likely as real madrid paying 40mil for Modders then I won't get too excited yet!

(2.5 - of course i'm overexcited and over optomistic- I'm a spurs fan in a transfer ITK forum just before the start of the season!)

Just spoke to Tom huddlestone up the O2. Told him his hair is coming along nicely.

Didn't seem to happy to speak to me!

That is some pretty unrealistic ambitions considering there is very little movement anywhere across Europe at the moment. If we make two or three of those happen that will be good.

And the Llorente link must be finished because if previous ITK is to be trusted and correct the Adebayor deal was stalled to pursue Llorente now that the ITK is Ade is going through then Llorente must be out of reach.

IMO if we can get Ade and Lloris this will be a good window if Damaio happens and we resolve Modric it will excellent. But my gut feeling those two will be in Jan.

just makes it easier to sign the player on deadline day. i don't think it would count as tapping up as i'd assume that the selling club would have given permission for the buying club to speak to the player.
