Unfortunately I was stuck in Houston Texas so couldn't get to Wembley. In the US the game was shown on Setanta which you can only get with satellite not cable.
So I went to Richmond Arms British pub expecting 4 or 5 fellow expats maybe split 50-50 . When I got there the car park was full , there were about 50 Spurs fans and only 5 from Chelski. The owner of the pub is a Spurs fan and all the bar staff were in Spurs shirts. What really surprised me was that about 75% of the Spurs fans were American . Their knowledge about Spurs really impressed me but what impressed me even more was the noise throughout the game and the wild celebrations afterwards.
It made me think that this must have been going on across the world , that we are truly a global club and a few more finals could see us overtaking at least 2 of the so- called big 4 in worldwide support..
I was really happy to have been part of the day and for a couple of hours Houston Texas was like being in Wembley Middx. Thanks Richmond Arms.

Danny:

You need to switch to satellite and get Setanta. You're missing too many games!!
Glad you had such a great time, though!!

Yeah, unfortunately DirecTV has zero reception in our apartment complex . So I'm stuck with Comcast. I have Setanta Broadband but for a game like yesterday a day at the pub was better !

It was the same at the Dark Horse here in Philly. The place was packed, at least 30 Spurs fans and maybe about 5 Chelsea. It was a great atmosphere and well worth the wait!

Awesome! I go to Richmond Arms every week to catch the Spurs. I didn't make it for the live showing, but George and Christina, two Spurs fans who work there, made me a DVD copy that I watched later that day.

I was stuck in Brugge this weekend. And went to the Celtic Ireland which is an Irish pub which had sky. There were about 5/6 yids including me. A few from london and one dude who's part of a Belgiam Spurs supporters group. It was great. There were also a couple of sulky chelsea fans, one of them even tried to start a fight. Nevertheless it was great wathcing the match.

And I'm the Spurs representative here at Gosford on the New South Wales Central Coast (about 50 miles north of Sydney).

fantastic win. Saw us win the old League Cup in 71 and 73 so great to be able to celebrate another trophy.

The common theme here is that our fans in countless venues across the world vastly outnumbered the blue losers. The truth is that Chelski has no real history , won very little before the money came and their support truly is shit. We have much more in depth worldwide support than they do and that is something money alone cannot buy. They play sterile mind numbing football and will never attract the loyalty that we do.

From Malaysia here!!! I watched it at home, but my fellow Spurs fans in Malaysia were going bonkers as well when we won. My mobile was ringing non-stop with calls and texts, even from my non-Spurs friends, congratulating me for our massive win!!!!

I love you Spurs!!

From Cape Town here, watched at home alone but it was great. My daughter who is 8 was watching with me on and off and when she wasn't she'd say call me when there is a goal dad. And at the final whistle we celebrated wildly.

great stories- as I saying during the Hutton big club/small club debate

although Rangers probably do have more fans than us worldwide, the greater exposure English football gets compared to Scottish (I bet the viewing figures worldwide for this final will easily beat the Scottish lge cup final) means Hutton will actully be on a bigger global stage with Spurs
