They're not poor Monaco, they just don't pay their players enough to keep them. Isn't that what you like to go on about?
Exactly my problem. Our fans aren't worried about us, yet Danny Rose can go from 70k to 200k

whats the point in worrying, if we had, had the stadium size of what Man U have had for so many years, or someone had come in and bought ENIC out with silly money, and gone down the route of Man C or Chelscum, then we would be able to moan about it.

every player that signs for us knows we can never compete with teams wage wise, and until the stadium is paid for we won't even be able to consider it. the only way we will be able to raise our wage structure in anyway that might keep players happy is being reg CL, and going to the QF, and winning other trophies, or the PL itself.

Can't see it personally, firstly Juve are more attractive, and secondly if Monaco aren't keen to lose him we're not exactly the best at making offers that are too good to refuse

He's on £2800 per week according to most sites on the Internet. Their highest earner last season was moutinho at 67k per week. I think we can afford to give him 20 times what he's currently on and still not be over spending if all the sites with his current wages are correct

Yes but other teams can give him 40 times his current wage

If levy gets to know what he is on then he would offer £4,800 certainly would not offer 20 x salary that's for sure.

Would be a fantastic signing and I hope there is some truth in the rumours.

Would give us something we desperately miss. He knows how to beat a man and run at defences with purpose.

Let's get this done

Perfect fit for rotating with Son, Erickson, Ali and possibly Lamela if he recovers.
Move Sissoko on, sell N'jie and put in a decent bid.
IMO, If we put in a high bid on anyone this summer, then for me, it's this guy!

This sort of player from a club like Monaco will always go for £35m at least. Look at Bernardo Silva and Martial, both insane fees.

It's extremely unlikely we'll do any business at that level.

If we sell Walker then maybe. However, wages will always be an issue at the top level of the market and we'd need a replacement for Kyle, too.

I think signings like Sessegnon, and players from Holland and France are much more where we are.

I think we need to make a statement signing, this guys pace, pass and move style could work wonders playing at Wembley next season, looks to have the ability to change a game from the bench when teams have tired legs.
We paid a whack for Sissoko so I don't think £35m is out of the question.
It also shows intent to our current crop of players too, 1 statement signing and as you say a mix of youth high potential signings.
