Not sure who's screwed with this window more, PSG or Liverpool. PSG obviously paid crazy money for neymar and mbappe, but turning down 130m for coutinho, and now bidding 65m for lemar? How do we stand any chance, transfer fees will now become relative, selling clubs will reference these sort of fees when selling their prized assets.

Until the stadium is fully paid off, our only hope is to keep plucking miracles out of thin air, Sancho, Foyth, Sanchez...we need sessegnon before they try and quote 50m next season

Maybe Liverpool is trying to spend the Coutinho money before word gets out that they actually have it. Similar to what we did with Bale. You saw what happened to Barcelona when everybody knew how much money they had to spend this window.

I think liverfool is another poor poker player.. The 4-0 victory yesterday no doubt release some pressure from that club.. If not they will be under so much pressure dealing with Coutinho saga through this week no doubt.

Granted they may accept Barca's offer, I think they will still pay at least 90mil for Lemar, if not 100mil..

I just don't understand why they are going after Lemar at all. I think he's a great player with massive potential. But they already have 8,357 players just like him. He's not needed there. They need an Eriksen, an Alderweild, a Lloris. Hell, they even need a Kane. Klopp is a lunatic.

Klopp seems to be trying to overload his squad with attackers whereas we seem to be doing that with defenders.

shocked Barca don`t go for Lemar as well as Dembele.

I do think Levy might do a deal even at £70 million as there is potential to double the transfer value on Lemar after a successful season and world cup... The Neymar deal has totally changed things..

Well looks like they have just payed Naby Keita release clause of 45 mil, won't come till next year but that is an incredible signing for them. We should have gone after him.

I think Poch would have to put up a hell of a argument to get DL to part with that kind of wedge. Dead right in the Neymar deal. It's all down to global warming. Everyone has got a touch of the sun this window. Whether it will calm down or become the new normal only time will tell.

front 4 of Firmino, Mane, Salah and Lemar will cause any side a ton of problems. This is the first time in 5 or so years that i felt they gonna be real good, sadly.

Any information on what the wages are for those four as I think that is what stops us doing these deals, not the up front fee.

Also scoring goals hasn't been an issue for Pool, it's letting them in that's the real issue. Plus of course the perennial issue of bus parkers which this won't help with at all?
