Long time reader but often too self-conscious to post but......
this really does upset me - i live in the backwoods of SE Asia so i hardly get to see spurs on tv (though listen as often as possible) and to see the lack of fluidity and poor attitude (since i last watched a game - carling cup final) just astounds me. The constant hoof forward to Pav is totally fucked in my opinion. And that is not a go at Pav. To take off Zokora!!!!!!! Gilberto was a mistake and why the hell arent we starting with Bent?????
Sorry but im really just so upset now. To me, i think there may be a culture problem at White Hart Lane. Are there too many players (and coaches) taking the easy pay check? Ramos for all his past praise and achievements looks out of his depth or has just lost any tactical smarts. No I dont think Poyet is the answer at all. I really do think that for a side with so much skill yet cannot display it on the pitch there must be something going on in the dressing room. We can only hypothesize, but too many players in during summer was the wrong way to go about it. To me Malbranque was one constant we could rely on last season.
Where to from here? Dunno but for one thing we CANNOT have King play one week and not the next and then sometimes not for a couple of weeks. At the risk of becoming unpopular, King should have been given a golden handshake and added to the backroom staff over the summer. CB was a position that should have been addressed before any others and unfortunately we went ahead and stockpiled midfielders who need at least 12 months in the league to adjust.
I love Spurs, I really do. I really do feel for you yid ticket holders who have to put up with this week in week out.
Got loads to say but i think ill just give it a rest. Go for a walk or something....
Apologies for the rant and the bleeding obvious

I fully agree with your RANT....and I fully agree with what you point out. The team has gone DOWN quicker than the Titanic (and with a weaker soundtrack too!). The team that was selected today was a reflection of where we are 'struggling' at this moment on time. Ramos may have the experience and CUDOS...or he may be under all kinds of unseen pressures....but I should imagine that he was fully aware of how much of a struggle he was going to face before he took the job. Levi may or may not be a directly responsible party in our demise in recent months....but it falls to all concerned party's to make sure that WE, as a club, are no greater a JOKE Than we currently are. For as long as I care to remember (The Jol years ONWARDS) we have been in NEED of a strong midfielder (in the 'kick them up the ass' mold!) who will COMMAND and DESTROY all in his immediate field of vision. To date (and for 2 years at least) we have been dominated in most areas of the field, and on the score sheet too!
NO MORE, Mr Levi! You are being paid to do a job and you, along with your cohorts at WHL, have FAILED to impress...again.....COYS!
