Not sure this is the beginning of the end for Poch.

Really disappointed in the results but also the manner.

Just so naive in the way we gave up leads against Watford and Inter.

Thought one of the benefits of keeping the team together as we’d have a strong unit and work as a team to see games out.

Theres some real exaggerations and knicker twisting going on. I don;t recognise this fanbase sometimes.

The biggest hypocricy on SC is the Liverpool thread. In which fans often call them 'entitled', 'whingers' etc etc. Look at yourselves. I see it in here as much as it is commented on about them. Nothing is a sure thing in any sport. A loss of 3 games is disappointing, it's worthy of discussion especially the manner of the defeats. It sits on the manager and the players. But it's only 3 games. I thought Spurs looked much more lively.

Somewhere along the lines a few fans have lost sight of this. If you want mega money signings you ain't supporting the right team/. The scousers, chavs, Citeh and Yanited are but a shirt purchase and a channel change away.

Chill out.

It hurts purely because we have been treated by Poch to becoming a team who doesn't lose. Before Poch, we would've expected results like these. The important thing is to get a win in the next game, the important thing is we aren't losing by more than 1 goal, so we are keeping ourselves in games.

I think we can come out of this and go on a run, hopefully this will wake our players up and make them realise we aren't as good as we think we are. I think we need to start picking a consistent team though.

Common denominator: Daniel Levy.

Common denominator: Old WHL as home stadium
Common denominator: Year starts with a 2
Common denominator: Elizabeth II on the throne
Common denominator: You as a Spurs fan

If you're going to make a throw away statement like that you should try backing it up with a bit of explanation as to why it might be relevant, otherwise it's a bit embarrassing for you. The most apparent extrapolation I can make from what you said is that you believe if we change the chairman we will never again lose three games in a row. I assume that's what you're trying to say.

Incidentally, I did a quick bit of searching to see the last time Man U lost three in a row. It was at the start of the 16/17 season and that year they went on to win the Europa League. Before that, they lost three league games in a row in 2001 - a season in which they won the league.

City did it under Mancini. Liverpool lost three league games in a row under Klopp. Arsenal lost three in a row under Wenger and still finished third.

Losing three games in a row does not mean you are a bad team, have a bad manager or are run by a bad chairman. It just means you lost three games in a row.

That's not an accusation that you could throw at the Liverpool owners though so it's not as binary as saying it's a choice between Levy/ENIC or corrupt foreign investor. That said, we can call for Levy to go until the cows come home but ENIC will only sell when they are ready to.

THat's correct. Same goes for Man United and the way they built themselves into the powerhouse they are today.

I'd suggest that ENIC's investment in Training facilities; Academy, new stadium and all the infrastructure required for long term success is as good as, if not better, than Fenway's in Liverpool. So it's not as black and white is it?

This season has been a bit of a disaster so far - the stadium delay, no signings in the summer, poor form on the pitch.

It's been a perfect storm of shitness.

That said - it is still early days and we can turn it around (and I think we will) but we will have to be patient as it's not magically going to happen over night. We have really shot ourselves in the foot by totally screwing up the transfer window - it really is unforgivable.

We have a perfect storm at the moment but i expect it to clear. problem with players coming back late. Pochetino's heavy pre season. means we always tend to start slowly. This seems to have just pushed the slow start to slightly later than normal. I think we need to just chill get over the hump and get back to winning ways. Having said that Poch deffo needs to chill out.

I think the concern is we don’t know if this is a blip or we are genuinely not as good as we were the last couple of seasons.

Too early to tell I guess.

This summer has been a disaster across the board

The PL started far too soon after the World Cup
We didn't add to the squad
We've had a few injuries here and there
We've been let down with the way the club has dealt with supporters in light of stadium delays

But jesus this doom and gloom that is engulfing our support is ridiculous!

Care to share any recent signs of hope with us, aside from 20 good minutes against a sub-par Man Utd?

I firmly believe he were to be moving into the NWHL for the next game everything would change. The positivity from it would act as a catalyst, at the moment that positivity is hard to find and were doing a bit of soul-searching.

Winning the first 3 games of the season despite being below par ourselves?

How silly of me to think that we are so far off the pace already that we should just pack in now and give up. 3 points off of 4, after 5 games.... still a rather substantial 33 to play.

I firmly believe Poch will turn the ship around. This guy has faults, but he’s also one determined and talented coach.

The stadium opening would help, as it would give everybody at the club a lift. As would making an example of a few underperformers, and introducing some youth into the side - KWP, Amos. I dunno who else...

The main difference with this run is that we haven’t taken a hammering. And it’s included playing last season CL finalists and a trip to San Siro. All 3 games we could easily have at least drawn with a bit more luck. And clearly if Lloris had been available we wouldn’t have lost all 3. Sometimes a poor run can be a blessing look at Chelsea 16/17. You can only hope Pochettino has now gone to Levy and said look we need reinforcements in January.

All good points.

Our performances were the same but we’d beaten Watford and drawn with Inter we’d likely, mostly, be in an upbeat mood.

At the moment our transfer system has to be scrutinised.

I was of the opinion that many players we were linked with were either unrealistic or no improvement on what we have.

But that doesn’t mean options aren’t available.

there's some grim memories up above- I personally don't think we're in too deeper sh*t this time.

We'll be good for top six and a few decent results in the cups if we stop letting these set pieces in. But peeps need to understand that we needed investment in the midfield this summer and the impact of not bothering means we are now simply weaker than Liver and Chels. All four of our deeper lying options will continue to be exposed in the bigger games.

Poch won't get sacked he bought into levys project who else would come in and start a season without new signings not many and that is a huge part of why he is here, he accepts the project is a long term vision and goes along with it so I really cannot see levy firing him as there is probably no one better to sail through this shit storm right now.
