I've now tried for 4 games and have failed to get in once on both Hotspur+ and Hotspur days.

Pissed off doesn't cover it.

In terms of tips, here is a summary:

- use as many browsers as possible, as there seems to be no clear queuing system
- start queuing at different times, for the same reason
- probably safest not to refresh when in the queue. Not seen any evidence it helps, and have seen evidence it can send you back to the start
- don’t queue too early - you can get in ahead of the sale, but you’ll get booted out again. I’ve tried a few times, and I haven’t managed to beat the system
- use find me a ticket rather than the map (particularly when few seats are available). The map is often out of date. Need to refresh to refresh the map, but the tickets have probably already gone
- keep trying, as some people naturally try getting better tickets for 20 mins, then release the ones they don’t want. This can go on for a couple of hours, but obviously chances diminish over time
- finding child price tickets is very very hard. Only available in the cheaper areas, and a pain to search for (as have to change areas in 2 boxes). I’d first go for any 2 tickets together, then try to look for adult and child on the off chance when i had something in the bag
- getting single tickets tends to be easy on ticket exchange. Pairs harder, but doable, particularly in more expensive areas. No child tickets available.
- tickets can keep cropping up, so check in regularly. Ticket exchange in particular is an ongoing system - tickets can be put up anytime.

Hope that helps, and is a fair reflection of what we know.

Doubt it, tried both days and fuck all. Getting sick and tired of wasting 2 mornings a week on a totally random system. Logged in both days on at least 3 different machines and there is absolutely no logic as to which one gets on first. Started at 9.10 and logged the last one in at 9.40.
I cant afford a season ticket but have always tried to go about once a month, I have now only managed to get one ticket for the first 5 games, its really disappointing

God it sounds like a nightmare

I barely had a problem when we were at the old stadium .

Doubt this will get fixed ?

Does logging on before 9am uk time or on the dot make a difference ?

I don’t think anything makes a difference in that regard. It’s a lottery but one that takes up 1-3 hours of your time rather than 2 minutes.

For the City CL game my brother got in to the site half an hour early, it didn’t kick him out and he managed to buy his ticket and receive his confirmation email at 9:58, 2 minutes before they were to go on sale!

Anytime I’ve made it in early since I’ve routinely been hoofed out by around 10 to 10.

I think season ticket numbers will drop over the next few seasons and it will become less painful.

For now it just is what it is. If they can improve the queuing system somehow then great.

I personally think you should be only be able to buy tickets for 2-3 people from your network and also there should be a restriction on the number of tickets you can add to your basket, as it feels like there are quite a few individuals hoovering up large quantities of tickets at a time (to buy or then later release).

Small tweaks could make it fairer but ultimately there are 7k tickets and about 10x that number trying to buy them.

Can someone explain why some tickets are 69.50 on the ticket exchange and others are 324 pound each ?

I noticed the queue system has been improved now. It now shows how many people in front of you and approx what time you reach the front of the queue. It also shows the time it last updated so you know its working.

Yeah was very pleasantly surprised this morning, I logged on a bit late (9.30) and there was something like 4000 in the queue ahead, as soon as it got to 10am, the number came steadily down and I was on by 10.20 (10 minutes earlier than the initial estimate).

It was an orderly, informative, functioning queuing system.

Thanks Jose ;)

agree . - i logged on about the same time and also had my tickets by 10:30. Only problem i find is when you try to choose your own seats as every one you click on seems to have a message saying that someone else already purchased. If you are happy to go with the 'choose tickets for me' option its much quicker and easier (assuming you are not too fussy about where you sit).

I selected a seat and it said someone already added it to their basket so I picked the seat directly behind it. I look forward to kicking the seat in front of me.
