I cannot see Levy letting someone at the club going public with a denial on the FDB story if indeed it was true?

That said i couldn't see him firing Redknapp...................

Is he the man for us, no of course not. He has next to no experience. Not his fault. He is at the beginning of his managerial career. He will no doubt improve in time for someone else.
I do feel sorry for the bloke. He's obviously trying his best, and wants to do well with us. How would you like it if people said that you sucked in your job and were talking about who's going to replace you. Oh, and into the bargain, complete strangers were calling you all the names under the sun?

The irony is, the morons who attack him personally, have the audacity to suggest he lacks class. I mean, 'Dim Tim', really? How pathetic are our fans. Whether you like him or not, he's our manager. He deserves to be supported. Maybe (now here's a crazy stupid thought), just maybe, what if the fans had gotten behind him, chanted his name, then maybe the players would think oh, hang on, the fans really like him, and it might have changed the performance.

Whats the common denominator in all of our failed managers, players, board members over the years... that's right the fans. Some on here are an embarrassment, on a par with Chelsea fans. Absolutely disgusting.

As I said before, you don't get extra points for artistic impression. It was the start of the season and once again AVB had players he hadn't asked for, so was trying to bed them in. TS has form in alienating managers and now players, so it's a bit rich throwing that at AVB. AVB has his faults and all I wanted was for him to have the rest of the season. In the end, Levy's decision has not worked as we don't have CL football. TS is not up to the job: he's been out thought by Fat Sam twice. The thing Sherwood's supporters don't like is having a mirror held up to their hero.
Does Sherwood have any supporters out there?

He will have after his successor (if there is to be one) has been fired by Levy. This is the cyclical brain status of an average Spurs fan.....oh and i consider myself to be an above average Spurs fan............:bag:

His wife, his kids. Some people on here. Probably quite a few thousand or so 'out there'. I'm no TS fan but he does have those willing to argue his side, which is good (otherwise this forum would be dead) :)

This forum is dead, i mean just count the number of different usernames. Twenty? Thirty?

Hardly a representation or guide to anyone's perspective on games, results, performances or any other category you'd wish to mention.

Fun place to hang out and banter though.

I think his second game in charge was against West Ham in the CC and the FA Cup game that we lost 1-0 was to the team that we always go to and win.

I would say that if you judged any manager in the way you have summed up Sherwood, God almighty would be out on his arse after half a season.

Jeezzzzzzzzzz.
That's paranoia. All I'm saying is that you cannot compare Sherwood to other managers after only 17 games - where am I judging him?
Also you forget to include the Europa games - we lost to a shocking Dnipro team and just scrapped through in the home leg then there was Benfica... so that is 6 cup games 1 win 1 draw and 4 defeats. add these to the PL games and the record isn't looking so good.

The EL group stages are full of pub teams as Sherwood says (not that i would have used that term) i would have said cannon fodder. Which most are.

Why do you think Hull City are in the final of the FA Cup? Would it have anything to do with the fact that top sides don't play a full strength side in a third rated competition after the PL title and CL qualification?

You talk about Benfica as though they are a Championship side. They failed to qualify for the knock out stages of the CL on goals difference and (i think) were undefeated. You talking about that Benfica right?

"Scraping through" is what teams do in the PL, EL and CL. Winning at a canter playing three games a week isn't possible today. Our record isn't that good this season, our injuries the worst on record, a change of manager mid-season and seven new signings. Fuck me just where did it all go so, so wrong i wonder?

TS has not been out thought twice by Big Sam, we lost or league game whist AVB was still in charge, I hope he doesn't as losing to them once in a season was a bad enough losing twice was embarrassing and frankly losing to them 3 times in a season combined with the 3 losses against the Gooners does not bear thinking about.

Eh? He retired from playing football NINE years ago. He has been employed by THFC for almost SIX years, yet still doesn't have the necessary qualifications, and hasn't been seeking a managerial post elsewhere before winning the lottery and getting the THFC job.

Exactly who's fault is it that he has no experience then? Look at other players who have got their qualifications. People like Nicky Butt, Paul Scholes, both Neville brothers, Giggsy, even James fecking Beattie.

Most of them got their qualifications whilst they were still playing, not preferring to wait for NINE years. There has been absolutely NO reason whatsoever as to why he couldn't have done the basics (get qualified) and gain experience elsewhere, so why hasn't he? Ego too big for it?

Compare him to Steffen Freund, who retired from playing the same time as Sherwood did. One of those guys has not only gained ALL top qualifications, he's managed his national U16 team, did so well that he was promoted to manager of the national U17 team, in which he did so well that he was made assistant manager to the national U20 team, before we decided he'd done so well that he deserved a chance to be assistant manager to AVB.

Compare that to the guy who you claim "has next to no experience" and "it's not his fault" (y)
